
Start the pilot of the
seal press tool into the
upper bushing of the
fork until the oil seal is
resting inside the seal
head.
Rest the bottom of the fork legs
against a padded, rm surface (a
couple of folded up shop towels on
top of a workbench will do).
Use a fairly heavey rubber-faced
mallet to deliver one or two sharp
blows to fully seat the oil seal.
You’ll know it’s fully seated when
you can see the c-clip groove above
the oil seal.
