Kettle
Read the user manual carefully to make sure that the product is assembled, used and
maintained correctly, as described in the instructions in this user manual. Keep the user
manual for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read all instructions before use.
• Before connecting the kettle to a power supply, check that the voltage
indicated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage in your home.
If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
• Do not let the cord hang over edge of table counter or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place the kettle on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a
heated oven.
• Do not operate without water; otherwise the heater element will be
damaged.
• Ensure that kettle is used on a firm and flat surface and out of reach of
children.
• To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not any
parts of the kettle in water or any other liquid.
• Avoid touching the steam from the spout when water is boiling, or just
after it has switched o, since it can be very hot. While water boiling,
avoid contacting with steam from the spout when water is boiling
• Always pour boiling water slowly and carefully, do not tip the kettle too fast.
• Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle or the button only.
• This kettle is for household and indoor use only.
• The use of accessories not supplied with this kettle is not recommen-
ded since it may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.

WARNING!
If these instructions are not followed, an accident may
lead to serious personal injury or property damage.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the
kettle to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Ensure that the lid is closed before turning the kettle on. Never lift the
lid while water is boiling.
• If the cord is damaged it must be replaced by the retailer.
• This appliance has a grounded plug. Ensure that the wall outlet you
are using is well earthed.
• Do not use the kettle for other than its intended use.
• The kettle can only be used together with the stand provided.
• If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

BEFORE USING YOUR WATER KETTLE
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you should clean it
before first use by boiling the Max capacity of water once and then discarding the water.
Wipe the surface with damp cloth. NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.7 L.
USING YOUR WATER KETTLE
1. Place the unit on the level surface.
2. To fill the kettle, remove it from the base and open the lid by pressing the lid release
button, fill with the desired amount of water, and then close the lid. Alternatively, the
kettle may be filled through the spout. The water level should not exceed MAX marks
or sit below MIN level. Too little water will cause the kettle switching o before the
water has boiled. NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may
spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before plug-
ging the power outlet.
3. Position the kettle on the power base.
4. Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press down the On/O switch, the indicator will
light up. The kettle will start to boil the water. Once the water has been boiled, the On/
O switch will turn o automatically. You can shut the power o by lifting the On/O
switch at any moment during the boiling cycle. If you want to boil water again, just
press down the On/O switch directly to restart the boiling cycle. NOTE: Ensure that
the On/O switch is free of obstructions and that the lid is firmly closed, the kettle will
not turn o if the switch is constrained or if the lid is open.
5. Lift the kettle from the power base and pour your water out. NOTE: Operate carefully
when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water may result in scald. Never
open the lid completely while the water in the kettle is hot. NOTE: Always disconnect
the power supply when not use.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch o the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool down completely
before filling with cold water to re-boil.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and cool it down completely
before cleaning.
• Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base in water, or allow moisture to get
in contact with these parts.
• Wipe the body of the kettle with a damp cloth.
• CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the
outside of the kettle to prevent the gloss loss.
• Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter and
then replace it after cleaning.
• When not in use, the power cord can be stored at the bottom of the appliance.
• When not use or storage, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of kettle.
REMOVEL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS
Your kettle should be periodically descaled to get rid of mineral deposits that are in tap
water. The deposits may form scale on the bottom of the kettle and cause the eciency
of operation to drop. You can use a commercially available descale solution and follow
the instructions on the package, or follow the instructions below:
1. Fill the kettle with approx. 2 dl of white vinegar, then add water to the amount so as to
cover the bottom of kettle completely. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
2. Discard the mixture in the kettle, fill the kettle with clean water, boil and then discard
the water. Repeat several times until the odor of vinegar has been flushed away. Any
stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.

INFORMATION ABOUT HAZARDOUS WASTE
Used products should be handled separately from
household waste. They should be taken for recycling in
accordance with local rules for waste management.

By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original
receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product
that is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following
this user manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
