Measuring cup

Allows you to add ingredients to the jug without removing the lid. Turn anti-clockwise to

open.

Plastic Jug

Allows you to see clearly inside the jug to check both the ingredients and the volume of

the food preparation.

Two Speed control

Two speed control gives a maximum (2) and a minimum (1) blade rotating speed to

blend different types and textures of food.

“P” Button (Crushes Ice)

“P” Button is preset to the best speed for crushing ice. Rotating the control to the “P”

position for a short period of time can provide a better performance for crushing ice.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Before using your Blender for the first time wash the jug, lid and cap in warm

soapy water, rinse well and dry. NOTE: The blades are sharp-edged, handle with

care.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Preparation

1. Position the motor unit on a dry, firm, level surface, close to a power

socket and out of reach of children.

2. Check that the control knob is set to “0” or OFF position.

3. Insert the blade assembly into the base of

the plastic jug, and rotate it anti- clockwise until

it is locked. You can see the “lock”arrow direction

at the bottom of the blade assembly unit.

4. Place the jug on top of the base/motor of the blender.

Ensure that the jug is firmly in place by turning it in a clock-

wise direction to lock it. There are ‘Lock’and ‘Unlock’

markings on the unit. It is recommended that you place

the jug handle away from the controls situated at the

front of the blender. To release the jug, turn it to

anti-clockwise direction.

5. Plug the motor unit into the power socket.

6. Put the ingredients into the jug. Do not fill it past the 1.5L / 1500ml mark. If you

do, the contents may force the lid off when you start the motor.

Fitting the Lid

1. Always fit the lid to the jug before using it.

2. Press the lid well until the flanges are well fixed in the jug.

3. Put the measuring cap into the hole in the lid and press it down to fit properly.

4. It is not a good idea to run the blender without the cap, especially if only solid

ingredients are used. They may be ejected through the hole once they hit the

blades.

The Operating Control

Turn the control knob clockwise to the speed you require:

“0” / “OFF”position

“1”position - slow,

“2”position - Max

To stop operation, turn the switch to “0” / “OFF”

position. Wait until the motor stops completely

then remove the jug from the body.

Unplug the blender after use.

Open indicator

Locked safe-to-use indicator

Don’t remove the lid from the jar

while the blender is on

Stop the blender before adding new

ingredients or use the measuring

cup to add ingredients.

Pulse Function

Pressing the pulse button will give you a short burst at maximum speed,

regardless of the current speed of the blades. The button is spring-loaded.

When you stop pressing, it will return to the speed the switch is pointing at.

Do not run the motor continuously for more than 2 minutes, or it may overheat. After 2

minutes, switch off for at least 3 minutes to cool down. This will help to prolong the

life of your appliance.

Crushing Ice

Before using the blender to crush ice, make sure it is clean and rinse it out thoroughly.

Any remaining trace of detergent may affect the taste of the crushed ice and will

flatten any drink to which it has been added.

Ice cubes come in many shapes and sizes. You will have to experiment with the ice

from your ice cube tray. Insert a maximum of 8 ice cubes and add 15ml

(1 tablespoon) of fresh cold water. Put the lid on the blender and turn the control knob

to “P”. While the unit is blending, hold for 2 seconds and release for 2 seconds. Note

that too much blending will reduce the ice to liquid, too little will merely chip the

edges/corners off the ice. Do not try to crush ice without adding water to the jug.

Do not be tempted simply to increase the amount of ice and blend for longer –

this will not work. Too much ice will never give you satisfactory results.

Adding ingredients

If you need to add ingredients while the blender is working, lift the cap off,

pour the new ingredients through the hole then replace the cap. Make sure

that the added ingredients do not push the volume in the jug past the 1.5L

/ 1500ml mark.

Finished

Turn the switch to “0” / “OFF”, wait until the blades have stopped moving before

removing the lid from the jug –or removing the jug from the motor unit. Hold the

motor unit with one hand, grasp the handle with the other hand, and then lift it off the

motor unit. Now lift the lid off the jug.

Quick Clean

Fit the blender jug onto the base, making sure it is firmly in place.

Pour some lukewarm water and dishwashing

liquid into the jug. Press the pulse button for a

few seconds, repeat this twice and rinse

thoroughly with clean water. Let it dry before

storing away. Clean the motor with a damp

cloth, never immerse it in water or place it under

running water.

Tips For Using Your Blender

Do not blend dry, thick or heavy mixtures for more than 60 seconds continuously. Let

the appliance cool down to room temperature before continue operating the

appliance again.

Do not place the lid into boiling water as it may deform.

Always hold the edge of the lid while operating the blender.
