3.2. Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT

Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the device on an
even, stable, clean and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons with
impaired mental, sensory and intellectual functions. The work area should provide
immediate access to the water shut-off valve. Make sure that the water pressure
does not exceed the recommended range.
Before using the unit for the first time, disassemble all parts and wash them as
well as the entire unit.
ASSEMBLY OF THE UNIT
1) Screw the legs to the base with a bolt, washer and nut.
2) Attach the water supply line by screwing the connector into the hole on the
underside of the base.
3.3. Working with the device
CAUTION! When working with the device, the membrane must be filled with
water! Do not fill the membrane with pressurized air!
1. Place the base on a stable surface as described in section 3.2.
2. Place the external basket (4) on the base.
3. Place a filter bag inside the basket.

4. Place the juice container under the drain (6).
5. Place the fruit pulp in the basket (4). Do not fill the basket completely. A
smaller amount of pulp will make juicing easier.
TIP: The fruit should be prepared for juicing. Apples and similar hard fruits
should be grinded (no puree!) and soft fruits such as grapes should be gently
crushed to break the skins. If done so, juicing will be more effective.
6. Place the cover (3) on the basket and secure it by putting a washer on the air
vent (1) and tightening the fastening nut (2).
CAUTION! The cover should be placed gently so as not to damage the air
vent!
7. Connect the device to the water supply. Open the water supply line and the
air vent.
8. The water flowing into the press causes the membrane to press the pulp
against the walls of the basket. The juice flows through the mesh walls of the
basket to the base and then out into the container.
9. During the pressing process, the manometer should be monitored. The
pressure is controlled by slightly opening and closing the inlet. Pour the
water slowly!
10. If the pressure exceeds 3 bars, the pressure relief valve will open
automatically and start draining water. In this case, close the water inlet. The

water will drain until the pressure drops below 3 bars. After the pressure has
dropped, you can slightly open the inlet again.
11. When no more juice comes out, turn off the water source and disconnect the
hose from the inlet valve.
12. Open the drain valve to let the water out of the membrane.
13. Open the air vent again so that air fills the membrane.
14. Remove the nut, washer and cover. Remove the basket, remove the filter bag
and wash the entire unit.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a) After each use, wash the device thoroughly to avoid rotting or the formation
of mold on the fruit remnants. Leaving even small residues can damage the
material from which the appliance is made and affect the quality of the juice.
b) Only mild detergents designed for cleaning food contact surfaces may be used
to clean the unit.
c) After each cleaning, all the parts should be dried well before the unit is used
again. It is recommended to dry the device with a soft towel.
d) Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
e) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning as they may damage the surface of the appliance material.
f) The device can be washed with a pressure washer, but be careful not to
damage the delicate membrane.
g) The membrane should not be lubricated with vaseline or food grease!
