• Toughenedglassiscompletelysafeforuseinourshowerenclosuresandbathscreens;providingourproductsareinstalledaccordingtoour
guidelines.
• Itisimportanttonotethattheglassmustnotbemountedor‘pinched’insuchawaythatwouldcauseastresspointtodevelopintheglass.In
addition,itmustnotbesubjecttoanysharpimpactorseveretemperatureuctuationwhichmayalsocauseastresspointtodevelopintheglass.
• Toughenedglassisphysicallyandthermallysignicantlystrongerthanstandardglass.Duringthetougheningprocessthestressescontained
withinanyglassarebalancedsoifintheunlikelyeventsituationanyoftheaboveoccursandtheglassbreaks,theglasswillshattersafelyinto
smallthumbnailsizedbluntfragments.

PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKS
1. Checkyouhavethecorrectproduct.Pleaselookatthelabelsonthesideoftheproductpackaging.
2. Checkalltheproductcomponentsareintheboxandthexingkits.
3. Unpackyourproductandhandleitwithcare.
4. Pleasechecktheproductfordefectsordamage.oncetheinstallationhascommencedwecannotacceptresponsibilityforanydefectsordamage.
5. Pleasetaketimetoreadtheseinstructionspriortoinstallingyourproduct.
6. Beforeyoucommenceanydrillingchecktherearenohiddenelectricalcablesand/orwatercables.
7. Noattemptshouldbemadetore-workthetoughenedsafetyglass.
8. Theinstallationoftheproductshouldbeperformedbytwopersons.
9. Itisstronglyrecommendedthatthewallstheproductisgoingtobeinstalledonarevertical.
10. Itisstronglyrecommendedtheproductisttedonatiledsurfaceorsimilarwaterproofsurface.
11. Itisstronglyrecommendedthewallsaretiledandgroutedbeforetheproductisinstalled.
12. Ifthewallsand/orthetrayarenotlevelyouwillnotachievemaximumadjustmentoftheproduct.
13. Picturesusedareforillustrationpurposesonly,productdesignsmayalterslightlyasaresultofcontinuingproductdevelopment.
14. WedonotstipulatewheretheEuropeanStandardKiteMarkshouldbepositionedontheglasswhenbeingfactoryassembled.
15. Pleasenotethatsomenaturalmistingmayoccurwhenyouremovethisproductfromitspackaging,duetotheadditionoftheglassprotectionpre-
coating.Ifthisdoesoccurthiscaneasilyberemovedwithasoft,drycloth.

IMPORTANT PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKS
1. Ensurethebathiscompletelylevel.
2. Checkforanymovementinthebathbystandinginit.
3. Thewallsshouldbetiledandgrouteduptothebath.
4. Fillthebathwithwaterandchecktheplumbingforleaks.
5. Withthebathfullofwater,fullysealthebathalongthetiledwallwithabathroomsealant(notsupplied).
6. Withthewaterstillinthebathleavethesealanttocureforatleast24hours.
• Spray the seal and joints with the shower head and check for leaks when the silicon has cured.
• Check the plumbing for leaks.
• Do not plasterboard over the bath.
• Donotgroutthetileswhenthebathscreenhasbeentted,thegroutmaydiscolourthealuminium
proles.
• Make sure the bath is installed to the manufacturers instructions.

Step1-WallProlePosition
1. DryttheBathScreenontopoftheBath.PositiontheFixedPanelsothatthecurvedfaceofthebottom
PivotAssemblyfallsinlinewiththeinsideoftheBath.
2. UsingapencillightlymarkwherethealuminiumverticalproletouchestheBathTop(usemaskingtapeto
protecttheBath),thiswilldeterminewhereyouneedtoxtheWallProleinStep2.
• You must ensure the glass runs parallel to the outside edge of the bath before marking the Bath Top.
• You will need help to hold the screen in position while you mark the tiled wall and bath top.
• IMPORTANTINFORMATION:Failuretotthexedpaneltotheinsideedgeofthebathtopwillresultinthe
bath screen leaking and will not be covered under the terms of the guarantee.

Step2-FixingWallProle
1. PositiontheinsideedgeoftheWallProleontothepencilmarkyouhavejustmade.
2. MakesuretheWallProleisverticalusingaspiritlevel.
3. UsingapencilmarkthelocationsforthedrillholesthroughtheholesoftheWallProle.
4. Drilltheholesusinga6mmmasonrydrill(notsupplied);pushthewallplugs(supplied)intothedrilled
holes.
5. ApplyabeadofsealantthewidthoftheWallProleatthebottomwheretheWallProlemeetsthetiled
wall.
6. Screwxthewallproletothewallusingthe40mmscrews(supplied)ensuringitisvertical.
7. ApplyabeadofsealanttotheinsideoftheWallProleatthebottomwhereitmeetstheBathtop.
• IMPORTANT:TheWallProlemustbecompletelyvertical(thebubbleshouldbeinthecentreofthe2
lines on the spirit level). The sealant must be applied in steps 5 and 7; failure to follow out this procedure
may result in serious water damage and is not covered under the terms of the guarantee.

Step 3 - Fitting the Fixed Panel
1. SlidetheFixedPanelfullyovertheWallProle,theFixedPanelmustoverlapbyatleast10mm.
2. UsingaSpiritLevelensuretheFixedPaneliscompletelyverticalanditissittingdownontopofthebath
andisalsoparalleltotheoutsideedge.
3. DrillthreeholesthroughtheFixedPanelintotheWallProlewiththe2.5mmdrillbit(supplied).
• Ensure the Fixed Panel is sitting fully down on top of the bath and is completely vertical.
4. Placethebasesontothe9mmscrewsandscrewxthePaneltotheWallProle.FittheCoverCaps.
• YouwillneedhelptoholdtheFixedPanelinpositionwhileyoudrillandxit.

Step 4 - Fitting the Moveable Panel
1. Usingthe4mmAllenkey(supplied)removethecountersinkscrewandTopPivotAssemblyfromtheFixed
Panel.
2. EnsurethattheMoveablePanelisthecorrectwaybeforetting,the“P”shapedextrusionshouldbe
positionedsothattheFlatFaceistotheinsideoftheshoweringareaandtheRoundFacetotheoutside.
3. OffertheMoveablePanelontothebottomPivotAssemblythenreattachedthetopPivotAssemblysothe
panelisthensecuredintoposition.
4. WiththedeectorfacinginwardpushtheBottomSealupontothebottomoftheMoveablePanelandalso
alonguntilitbuttsupagainstthealuminiumprole(trimtolengthifrequired)..
• Please take care when cutting the bottom seal.
• Makesurethebottomsealisbuttedupagainstthealuminiumprole.

Step 5 - Fitting the Bracing

1. PlacetheBraceBaroverthetopoftheglassontheFixedPanel;ensuretheBraceBariscompletelylevel
andinlinewiththepanel.
2. Usingapencil,markthewallaroundthebarrelthatisalreadyttedtothebracing.
3. RemovetheBraceBarfromthepanelandloosenthe2setscrewsattheenduntilthelocatingbushcan
beremoved(Takenoticeastowhichwaythebushts).
4. Takethelocatingbushandplaceitinthecentreofyourpencilmarkonthewall,markthewallthroughthe
holeinthelocatingbush.
5. Drillthewallusinga6mmmasonrydrill(notsupplied),insertthewallplugandscrewxthelocatingbush
usingthe40mmscrew(Make sure the bush is put on the correct way).
6. PositiontheBraceBarbackontotheFixedPanelandpushthebarreloverthelocatingbushand
thentightenthesetscrewswiththeAllenkey(supplied).
7. Slidethespacersinbetweentheglassandtheglassclamp,thiswillensurenometalpartstouch
theglass.UsingaatscrewdrivertightenontotheFixedPanel.
8. ThelengthoftheBraceBarcanbeadjustedbylooseningthe2setscrewswhichareonthetopof
thebarrelandattheendclosesttothebar.

Step 6 - Sealing
1. SealbothsidesoftheWallProleinsideandoutsideonlywhereitmeetsthetiles.
2. FullysealthebaseoftheFixedPaneltotheBathtopfromthewalltotheendofthePivotAssembly.
• IMPORTANT: Do not seal the base on the inside.
3. TheTopCaphasgroovesandcanbeshortenedbysnappingoffatthesepoints(addingasmallamountof
sealantwillhelpkeepthecapinplace).
4. FittheBottomSealensuringthatitisttedwiththedeectorfacinginwardtowardsthebath.Pushtheseal
uptothealuminiumthentrimthesealtolengthasrequired.
5. Pleaseallow24hoursforthesealanttofullycure.
6. EnsuretheBrandingBadgeisplacedprominentlyonanonemovingaluminiumpart(whereapplicable).

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Problem Solution
Leaking 1. ChecktheinternalgapbetweentheBathandtheWallProlehasbeensealedcorrectly.
2. EnsuretheBathisfullysealedalongthetiledwallspriortoinstallation.
3. IftheFixedPanelissealedontheinsidealongtheBathtop,thiswillcauseleakage-
sealantmustberemoved.
4. EnsuretheWallProleonthetiledwallissealedbothverticallyinsideandoutside.
5. IstheWallProlettedwhereitwasmarkedduringthedryt.
6. EnsurethedeectorontheBottomSealisfacinginwardtowardstheBath.
7. CheckthatthebathiscompatiblewiththebathscreenI.e.Flattopbath,Nonsculptured
bathandnohandrails.
Important: This enclosure should be water tested conforming to BS EN 14428

Some important information to help you Maintain your product.
Thefollowinginformationisallyouneedtokeepyourproductlookingnew.
Cleanyourproductusingamilddetergentdilutedinwaterandthenpolishedoffusingasoftcloth.
Ifyouliveinahardwaterarea,periodicallycleanyourproductusinga50/50solutionofwhitevinegarandwater.The
solutionshouldbeleftontheenclosureforapproximately5minutesthenrinsedoffusingwarmwater.Thismethodof
cleaningshouldremovelimescaleresidue.
Simple Maintenance
Ourproductsaregenerallymaintenancefree,howeveritmaybenecessarytolubricatewheelassembliesandother
movingpartsfromtimetotime.
Itisstronglyrecommendedthataqualitysiliconesprayisused.
A list of Dont’s:
1. Don’tuseacidicbasedproductswhichareunsuitableforcleaningenamelsurfaces.
2. Don’tuseabrasivecleanersorcleanersusingbleachorsolvents,theseproductswilladverselyaffectthenishof
thealuminiumproles.
3. Don’tusescouringpads,powderoranysharpinstrumentswhencleaningtheenclosure.
