Twelve (12) MONTHS LIMITED WARRANTY OF RJ-Global PRODUCTS FOR
HOME USE.
RJ-Global ("Seller”) warrants to the original purchaser only, that all RJ-Global
consumer power tools will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period
of twelve(12)months from date of purchase. Ninety (90) days for all RJ-Global Products,
if the tool is used for professional or commercial use.
SELLER'S SOLE OBLIGATION AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY under this (12)
months Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition
implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are
defective in material or workmanship and which have not been misused, carelessly
handled, or misrepaired by persons other than Seller or Authorized Service Center. To
make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must return the entire power tool
product; transportation prepaid, to RJ-Global Include a legible copy of the original
receipt, which lists the date of purchase (month and year) and the name of the company
purchased from.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO
TWELVE(12) MONTHS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE. SOME STATES IN THE
U.S. ADO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED
WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

INTRODUCTION
Thank You for Purchasing a RJ-Global Product. This manual provides information regarding
the safe operation and maintenance of this product. Every effort has been made to ensure the
accuracy of the information in this manual. RJ-Global reserves the right to change this
product and specifications at any time without prior notice.
Please keep this manual available to all users during the entire life of the chain saw.
This manual contains special messages to bring attention to potential safety concerns, chain
saw damage as well as helpful operating and servicing information. Please read all the
information carefully to avoid injury and machine damage.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Before operating this chain saw, read and observe all warnings, cautions, and instructions on
the chain saw and in this Owner's Manual.
NOTE: The following safety information is not meant to cover all possible conditions and
situations that may occur. Read the entire Owner's Manual for safety and operating
instructions. Failure to follow instructions and safety information could result in serious
injury or death.
This safety alert symbol is used to identify safety information about hazards that can result in
personal injury.
A signal word (DANGER, WARNING, or CAUTION) is used with the alert symbol to
indicate the likelihood and the potential severity of injury. In addition, a hazard symbol may
be used to represent the type of hazard.
DANGER Indicates a hazard, which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING Indicates a hazard, which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION Indicates a hazard, which, if not avoided, might result in minor or moderate

GENERAL SAFETY PROCEDURES
Safety is a combination of common sense, staying alert, and knowing how your chain
saw works.
WARNING:
•DO NOT operate this unit until you read this instruction manual for safety, operation and
maintenance instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in
electric shock, fire, and/or serious personal injury.
•DO NOT operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
•DO NOT allow children or untrained individuals to use this unit.
•DO NOT expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
•DO NOT handle plug or tool with wet hands.
•Never allow children to operate the equipment. Never allow adults to operate the
equipment without proper instruction.
•Always wear safety glasses with side shields. Everyday glasses have only impact resistant
lenses. They are NOT safety glasses. Following this rule will reduce the risk of eye injury.
Use face mask if operation is dusty.
•Wear eye protection when operating this product. Secure long hair above shoulder level to
prevent entanglement in moving parts.
•DO NOT expose to rain, store indoors.
•DO NOT operate in poor lighting.
•Keep all parts of your body away from any moving part.
•Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all body parts away from openings and moving
parts.
•Wear heavy long pants, boots, and gloves. Avoid loose garments and jewelry that could
get caught in moving parts of the machine or its motor.
•DO NOT force tool. Use the correct tool for your application. The correct tool will do the
job better and safer at the rate for which it is designed.
•DO NOT operate the equipment while barefoot or when wearing sandals or similar
lightweight footwear. Wear protective footwear that will protect your feet and improve
your footing on slippery surfaces.
•Secure long hair so it is above shoulder level to prevent entanglement in any moving parts.
•Keep firm footing and balance. DO NOT overreach. Overreaching can result in loss of
balance.
•DO NOT allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near
children.
•DO NOT use tool if switch does not turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled
with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
•Keep all bystanders, children, and pets at least 50 ft. away.
•DO NOT operate this unit when you are tired, ill, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs,
or medication.
•Keep all parts of your body away from any moving parts and all hot surfaces of the unit.

•Check the work area before each use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass, nails,
wire, or string which can be thrown or become entangled in the machine.
•Use only identical manufacturer replacement parts and accessories. Use of any other parts
may create a hazard or cause product damage.
•Battery tools do not have to be plugged into an electrical outlet, therefore, they are always
in operating condition. Be aware of possible hazards when not using your battery tool or
when changing accessories. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire,
or serious personal injury.
CHILD SAFETY:
Tragic accidents can occur if the operator is not aware of the presence of children.
•Keep children out of the working area and under the watchful care of a responsible adult.
•Do not allow children under the age of 14 to operate this trimmer. Children who are 14
years of age and older must read and understand the operating instructions and safety rules
in this manual, and must be trained and supervised by a parent.
•Stay alert, and turn the chain saw off if a child or any other person enters the working area.
•Look behind and down for small children before and while cutting backwards.
•Use extreme care when approaching blind comers, doorways, shrubs, trees, or other
objects that may obscure your view of a child who may run into the path of the chain saw.
WARNING:
Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction
activities contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
•Lead from lead-based paints,
•Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products,
•Arsenic and chromium from chemically-treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To
reduce your exposure to these chemical: work in a well-ventilated area, and work with
approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out
microscopic particles.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR CHAIN SAW
DO NOT operate your chain saw until it is completely assembled and installed according to
the instructions.
•DANGER - Keep hands away from blade. Contact with blade will result in serious
personal injury.
•Use chain saw for cutting wood only. DO NOT use for cutting non-wood items.
•Make sure that the area in which you are cutting is free from obstructions. DO NOT let the
nose of the Guide bar contact a log, branch, fence, or any other obstruction while you are
operating the unit. Have a planned retreat path.
•DO NOT grasp the exposed cutting blades or cutting edges when picking up or holding the
product.
•Cut only when visibility and light are adequate for you to see clearly.
•To protect yourself from electrocution, do not operate within 50 feet of overhead electrical
lines.
•Before starting the motor, make sure the chain is not contacting any object.
•Turn off the motor and make sure cutting attachment has stopped before setting unit down.
•Follow the sharpening and maintenance instructions for the saw chain.
•Use only the replacement guide bars and low kickback chains specified for the unit.
•DO NOT operate the saw with one hand! Serious injury to the operator, helpers,
bystanders, or any combination of these persons may result from one hand operation. This
saw is intended for two-hand use.
BATTERY PACK
•Be sure to unplug the charger and disconnect the power after completing charging, then
remove the lithium battery from the charger.
•It is recommended to fully charge the lithium battery pack before using.
•If you find that the charger wire is cracked or damaged, please contact customer service
immediately to replace the charger to avoid the risk of leakage during the charging
process.
•The charger and lithium battery pack should not not expose to water.
•DO NOT disassemble the charger and lithium battery pack by yourself.
•Store the charger and battery pack indoors, out of reach of children.
•If battery is hot after continuous use, allow it to cool down to room temperature before
charging, which will extend the life of batteries.
•DO NOT store the battery pack on the tool.
•DO NOT store and charge the lithium battery pack in an environment where the air
temperature is lower than 40°F (4.5°C) or higher than 105°F (40.5°C).
•DO NOT incinerate the tool or batteries. Toxic fumes and materials are created when
lithium ion battery packs are burned.
•DO NOT charge or use battery in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust.
•If waste batteries contact with your skin, please wash the skin with mild soap and water
immediately . If battery liquid gets into the eye, rinse water over the open eye for three
minutes or until irritation ceases.

CHARGER MAINTENANCE
•Keep the charger clean and clear of debris. Do not allow foreign material to get into the
recessed cavity or onto the contacts. Wipe the charger clean with a dry cloth. Do not use
solvents or water, and do not place the charger in wet conditions.
•Unplug the charger when there is no battery pack in it.
•Fully charge the batteries before placing them in storage.
•Store the charger at normal room temperature. Do not store it in excessive heat. Do not use
the charger in direct sunlight. Recharge at room temperature between 45°F and 104°F. If
the battery pack is hot, allow it to cool down before recharging.
STORAGE
•Store out of the reach of children.
•Clean all foreign material from the product. Store idle unit indoors in a dry,
well-ventilated area that is inaccessible to children. Keep away from corrosive agents such
as garden chemicals and deicing salts.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The following form lists the common operating system with problem and solutions. Please
read the form carefully and follow it.

Chain running
hot and
smoking.
• Check chain tension for over
tightened condition.
• Chain oil tank is empty.
• Debris in guide bar groove.
• Re-tension the saw chain: see the section:
"CHAIN TENSION".
• Filling bar and chain lubricant.
• Clear the debris in the groove.
Motor does not
run.
• The battery pack is not
attached to the chain saw.
• There is no electrical contact
between the saw and battery.
• The battery pack is depleted.
The battery pack or chain

• The back-off button is not
depressed before pressing

• Remove the battery, check contacts and re-install
the battery pack.

• Allow the battery pack or chain saw to cool.
• Press down the lock-off button and hold it, then
depress the trigger switch to turn on the chain
saw.
• Pull the chain kickback brake handle backward
toward the front handle.
• Release the trigger switch; remove the saw chain
and guide bar from the wood, then restart the
chain saw.
• Press the saw chain against the wood, move the
chain saw back and forth to discharge the debris.
• Remove battery pack, then remove side cover
and clean out debris.
Motor runs, but
chain does not
rotate.
• Chain does not engage drive
sprocket.
• Re-install the chain, making sure that the drive
links on the chain are fully seated on the
sprocket.
Chain brake
does not engage.
• Debris preventing full
movement of the chain

ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE BATTERY DISPOSAL
The batteries used in this chain saw's battery pack contain the following toxic and corrosive
material: LITHIUM-ION.
WARNING:
Toxic materials must be disposed of in a specified manner in order to prevent contamination
of the environment. Before disposing of damaged or worn out Lithium-Ion battery packs,
contact your local waste disposal agency for information and specific instructions. Take the
batteries to a local recycling and/or disposal centre that is certified for disposal.
If the battery pack cracks or breaks, whether it leaks or not, do not recharge it and do not use
it. Dispose of it and replace it with a new battery pack. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR
IT!
Follow these instructions in order to avoid injury and the risk of fire, explosion, or electric
shock, and to avoid damage to the environment:
•Cover the battery's terminals with heavy-duty adhesive tape.
•DO NOT attempt to remove or destroy any of the components of the battery pack.
•DO NOT attempt to open the battery pack.
•If a leak develops, the electrolytes that are released are corrosive and toxic. DO NOT get
the solution in the eyes or on the skin, and do not swallow it.

•DO NOT place batteries in regular household trash.
•DO NOT incinerate batteries.
•DO NOT place batteries where they will become part of any waste landfill or municipal
solid waste stream.
•Dispose of batteries at a certified recycling or disposal centre.
•Use extreme caution when cutting small-sized brush and saplings because slender material
may catch the saw chain and be whipped toward you or pull you off balance.
•When cutting a limb that is under tension, be alert for spring back so that you will not be
struck when the tension in the wood fibers is released.
•To avoid accidental starting, never carry plugged in product with finger on switch. Be sure
switch is off when plugging in.
•Maintain product with care. Keep cutting edge sharp and clean for best performance and to
reduce the risk of injury. Follow this instruction for lubricating and changing accessories.
Inspect cord periodically and, if damaged, have it repaired by an authorized service facility.
Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if damaged. Keep handles dry, clean, and
free from oil and grease.
•Remove the battery pack when not in use, before servicing, and when changing
accessories.
•Service on the product must be performed by qualified repair personal only. Service or
maintenance performed by unqualified personal could result in injury to the user or
damage to the product.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
In order to avoid personal injury and the risk of fire and electric shock, remove the battery
pack before adjusting, inspecting, or cleaning the chain saw.
WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts could create a
hazard or cause product damage.
WARNING:
DO NOT at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils,
etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic,
which could result in serious personal injury.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage
from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean
clothes to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
NOTE: DO NOT use dirty, used, or otherwise contaminated lubricants. Damage may occur
to the bar, or chain.
GUIDE BAR MAINTENANCE
When the guide bar shows signs of wear, reverse it on the saw to distribute the wear for
maximum bar life. The bar should be cleaned every day of use and checked for wear and
damage.
Feathering or burring of the bar rails is a normal process of bar wear. Such faults should be
smoothed with a file as soon as they occur.
A bar with any of the following faults should be replaced.
•Wear inside the bar rails which permits the chain to lay over sideways.
•Bent guide bar.
•Cracked or broken rails.
•Spread rails.
Lubricate guide bars with a sprocket at their tip weekly. Using a grease syringe, lubricate
weekly in the lubricating hole. Turn the guide bar and check that the lubrication holes and
chain groove are free from impurities.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
DO NOT use this product if any parts on the packing list are already assembled to your
product when you unpack it. Parts on this list are not assembled to the product by the
manufacturer and require customer installation. Use of a product that may have been
improperly assembled
WARNING:
If any parts are damaged or missing DO NOT operate this product until the parts are replaced.
Use of this product with damaged or missing parts could result in serious personal injury.
WARNING:
DO NOT attempt to modify this product or create accessories not recommended for use with
this product. Any such alteration or modification is misuse and could result in a hazardous
condition leading to possible serious personal injury.
WARNING:
DO NOT connect to power supply until assembly is complete. Failure to comply could result
in accidental starting and possible serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Wear protective gloves whenever doing any work on the saw chain. Before assembling the
guide bar with the saw chain, check the cutting direction of the teeth! The running direction
is marked with an arrow on the cover. To determine the direction of cut, it may be necessary
to turn over the saw chain . Hold the guide bar vertically with the tip pointing upwards and
put on the saw chain , beginning at the tip of the bar. The chain must be so fitted over the
guide bar that the cutting edges of the cutters face in the direction that the chain run.

STEP 1:
Set the M8 hexagonal wrench + Phillips screwdriver multifunctional tool to the M8 external
hexagonal screw on the chain cover, turn counterclockwise to remove the screw.
STEP 2:
Remove the chain cover.
STEP 3:
After removing the chain cover, find the plastic knob on the front of the chain cover, turn it
counterclockwise to adjust, and rotate the card position on the back of the chain cover to the
position of the line indicating icon for subsequent installation.
STEP 4:
Place the black plastic baffle at the corresponding position of the auxiliary handle, and
tighten the M4*20 Phillips cross tapping screws to the proper position clockwise with the
M8 hexagonal wrench + Phillips screwdriver multifunctional tool.
STEP 5:
Install the chain on the guide plate, and the direction of the black tip teeth of the chain must
face the direction of the two clamping holes.

STEP 6:
Install the chain guide plate to the product host, pay attention to the correct direction of the
chain guide plate.
STEP 7:
The adjustment locking point on the chain cover corresponds to the adjustment hole on the
guide plate, and then install the chain cover on the product host.
STEP 8:
Use the M8 hexagonal wrench + Phillips screwdriver multifunctional tool to rotate the M8
hexagon screw clockwise to 80% tightness (do not tighten too much).
STEP 9:
Turn the adjustment plastic knob clockwise to adjust the tightness of the chain to the
circle-marked status on the figure.

STEP 10:
Use the M8 hexagonal wrench + Phillips screwdriver multifunctional tool to turn the M8
external hexagonal screws clockwise to the proper position.
STEP 11:
Turn the cap on the product refilling port out counterclockwise.
STEP 12:
Pour the lubricating oil from the oiler into the oil filler port, and then Tighten the cap
on the oil filler port clockwise to the proper position.
STEP 13:
Insert the two lithium battery packs into the card slot sockets of the product host
respectively.
STEP 14:
After installing the two lithium battery packs, the product is installed and completed. First
press the self-locking button,Then press the switch button, then you can enter the working
mode.
