Thank you for choosing the ResMed S9 Embletta adapter. Use the S9 Embletta
adapter to connect an S9 device with an Embletta™Portable Diagnostic System (PDS).
Please read the entire guide before using this device.
S9 Embletta adapter

Setup
1. Disconnect the S9 device from the power outlet.
2. Align the S9 Embletta adapter clips with their corresponding sockets and push
the adapter onto the S9 device [see illustrations C and D]. Ensure the adapter
clips click into place.
3. Connect the Embletta interface cable to the serial socket.
4. Reconnect the S9 device to the power outlet.
Refer to the Embletta user instructions for information about setting up and using
the Embletta PDS.

Removing the S9 Embletta adapter
1. Disconnect the S9 device from the power outlet.
2. Press and hold in the release buttons located on each side of the S9 Embletta
adapter while removing it from the S9 device.
Note: Ensure that you remove the S9 Embletta adapter from the S9 device before
removing the serial cable. Failure to do so may damage the S9 Embletta adapter.
Cleaning and maintenance
If necessary, wipe the outside of the S9 Embletta adapter with a clean, dry cloth.
Save the packaging
Please keep this user guide and all the original packaging for your S9 Embletta
adapter.

Setup
1. Ziehen Sie den Stecker des S9 Atemtherapiegerätes aus der Steckdose.
2. Richten Sie die S9Embletta Adapter-Clips mit den entsprechenden Buchsen
aus und drücken Sie den Adapter auf das S9Atemtherapiegerät [siehe
AbbildungenC und D]. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Adapter-Clips einrasten.
3. Schließen Sie das Embletta Schnittstellenkabel an die serielle Buchse an.
4. Schließen Sie das S9 Atemtherapiegerät wieder an die Steckdose an.

Entfernen des S9Embletta Adapters
1. Ziehen Sie den Stecker des S9 Atemtherapiegerätes aus der Steckdose.
2. Drücken und halten Sie die Entriegelungsknöpfe, die sich auf beiden
Seiten des S9Embletta Adapters befinden, während Sie den Adapter vom
S9Atemtherapiegerät abnehmen.
