Thank you for choosing a ResMed USB adapter. Used with ResMed devices, the
USB adapters transmit patient therapy data between the device and Tx Link for
sleep studies.
The Air10 USB adapter shown in illustration A is compatible with AirSense™10 /
AirCurve™ 10 devices. The S9™USB adapter shown in illustration B is compatible
with S9 devices.
Before using the USB adapter, read the entire guide together with the device User
Guide.
Note: not all devices are available in all regions.

Software compatibility
Ensure the PC intended for use has the appropriate ResMed patient management
software installed.

Setting up
See illustration E or F.
1. Ensure the device is disconnected from the power outlet.
2. Connect the USB adapter to the device.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB adapter and the other to the
TxLink or ResScan (S9 USB adapter only).
4. Reconnect the device to the power outlet.

You can now perform sleep studies, or download data (S9 USB adapter only). For
more information, refer to the online software help. When the sleep studies or
data download are complete, you can remove the USB adapter if required.
Removing the USB adapter
1. Disconnect the device from the power outlet.
2. Press the release button/s on the side of the USB adapter and pull gently to
remove it from the device.
Cleaning and maintenance
1. Disconnect the device from the power outlet and remove the USB adapter.
2. Wipe the exterior of the USB adapter with a clean, dry cloth.
The contacts do not require cleaning.

Installation
Siehe Abbildung E oder F.
1. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät nicht mit der Steckdose verbunden ist.
2. Verbinden Sie den USB-Adapter mit dem Gerät.
3. Verbinden Sie ein Ende des USB-Kabels mit dem USB-Adapter und das andere
mit Tx Link oder ResScan (nur S9 USB-Adapter).
4. Schließen Sie das Gerät wieder an die Steckdose an.

Sie können nun Schlafstudien durchführen oder Daten herunterladen (nur S9 USB-
Adapter). Weitere Informationen finden Sie in der Softwarehilfe online. Wenn die
Schlafstudien oder das Herunterladen der Daten abgeschlossen ist, können Sie
den USB-Adapter gegebenenfalls entfernen.
Entfernen des USB-Adapters
1. Ziehen Sie den Stecker des Gerätes aus der Steckdose.
2. Drücken Sie den Entriegelungsknopf/die Entriegelungsknöpfe seitlich am USB-
Adapter und ziehen Sie ihn vorsichtig aus dem Gerät.
Reinigung und Instandhaltung
1. Ziehen Sie den Stecker des Gerätes aus der Steckdose und entfernen Sie den
USB-Adapter.
2. Wischen Sie den USB-Adapter außen mit einem sauberen Tuch ab.
Die Kontakte brauchen nicht gereinigt zu werden.
