while the water is boiling.
The kettle is only to be used with
the stand provided.
The appliance must not be
immersed.
CAUTION: Insure that the kettle is
switched off before removing it from
its stand.

The heating element surface is
subject to residual heat after use.
The surfaces are liable to get hot
during use.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Place the appliance on a stable flat surface before use.
Be careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has boiled, the steam
coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.
Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kettle beyond
the maximum level indication.
Make sure the bottom of the kettle and the power base are dry before placing the
kettle onto the power base.

PARTS
OPERATION
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 to 3 times following the
instructions below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the
manufacturing process.
1. Remove kettle from power base.
2. Fill kettle with desired amount of cold water through the spout or the open lid.
• Press and hold the lid release button to open the lid.
• Do not overfill the kettle by exceeding the MAX level.
3. Close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into place.
4. Place the kettle on the power base and insert the plug into the mains socket.
5. Press the power switch. The water is being heated.
• The power indicator light will illuminate.
6. The kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils.
• The power indicator light will go out.
• You can stop the boiling process by setting the power switch to “O”.
7. Lift the kettle from the power base and then slowly pour the boiling water.
NOTE: Use the kettle only hen the lid is closed and the filter is in place.
Cut-out for boil-dry protection
If you operate the kettle without water, the kettle will stop heating and automatically
switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

CLEANING AND DESCALING
Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool down before
cleaning.
Clean the outside of the kettle and the power base using a slightly damp cloth. Dry
thoroughly.
Remove the mesh filter from the spout. Clean it under running water and then replace
it.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
Never immerse the kettle and the power base in water.
Regularly descale the kettle using a specific descaler.
Wipe the inside of the kettle with a clean cloth.

Si la bouilloire est trop remplie, de
l'eau bouillante peut être éjectée.
MISE EN GARDE: Mettre le
couvercle en place de façon telle que
la vapeur ne soit pas dirigée vers la
poignée.
MISE EN GARDE: Ne pas enlever le
couvercle lorsque l'eau bout.
La bouilloire ne doit être utilisée
qu'avec le socle qui lui est associé.
L'appareil ne doit pas être immergé.
ATTENTION: S'assurer que la
bouilloire est hors tension avant de la
retirer de son socle.

L’appareil doit être placé sur une surface plane et stable avant d'être utilisé pour la
première fois.
Les jets de vapeur sont très chauds et constituent un risque de brûlure: Faites très
attention lors de l'ouverture du couvercle une fois l'eau portée à ébullition.
N'utilisez pas cette bouilloire pour faire chauffer quoi que ce soit d'autre que de l'eau.
Ne remplissez jamais la bouilloire au-delà du trait maximum.
Avant de mettre la bouilloire sur son socle, assurez-vous que le dessous de la
bouilloire et le socle lui-même sont secs.
