WARNINGS
● This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applicaons such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and

- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other
residenal type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
● If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

● If the kele is overfilled, boiling water may
be ejected.
● WARNING: Posion the lid so that steam is
directed away from the handle.
● WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the
water is boiling.
● The kele is only to be used with the stand
provided.

● CAUTION: Insure that the kele is switched
off before removing it from its stand.
● The appliance must not be immersed.

been given supervision or instrucon

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instrucons before operang the appliance and keep them for future
reference.
Do not use the kele to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kele beyond
the maximum level indicaon.
Always turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use and
before cleaning.
Do not move the kele during the heang process.
Do not open the kele lid when in operaon.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
Do not place anything on top of the lid.
The use of accessory aachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result
in fire, electrical shock or injury.
Do not use outdoors.
Be careful when opening the lid immediately aer the water has boiled, the steam
coming out of the kele is very hot constung a risk of scalding.
Make sure the boom of the kele and the power base are dry before placing the
kele onto the power base.

OPERATION
CLEANING AND DESCALING
Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kele for 2 to 3 mes following
the instrucons below. This will remove any dust or residues remaining from the
manufacturing process.
Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool
down before cleaning.
• Clean the exterior of the kele and the power base using a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
• Clean the interior of the kele with a so sponge and warm, soapy water. If you hand
does not fit in the lid opening, swish warm, soapy water around inside the kele with
the lid closed. Rinse any remaining soapy water from the kele.
• Remove the mesh filter from the spout. Clean it under running water and then
replace it.
• Do not use any abrasive or chemical cleaning agent.
• Never immerse the kele and the power base in water.
• Regularly descale the kele using a specific descaler.
1. Place the power base on a dry, flat and stable surface.
2. Open the lid by pressing the lid release buon.
3. Fill kele with desired amount of cold water.
• Always fill the kele between the minimum and maximum marks on the water
level window.
4. Close the lid by pressing it down.
5. Place the kele on the power base and insert the plug into the mains socket.
6. Press the power switch. The water is being heated.
• The indicator light on the power switch will illuminate.
7. The kele will switch off automacally when the water has boiled.
• The indicator light will go out.
• You can stop the boiling process by seng the power switch to the “OFF” posion.
8. Li the kele from the power base and then slowly pour the boiling water.
NOTE: Use the kele only when the lid is closed and the filter is in place.
Cut-out for boil-dry protecon
If you operate the kele without water, the kele will stop heang and automacally
switch off.
If this occurs, allow the kele to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

collecon points accept appliance free of charge.

enfants âgés d'au moins 8 ans, à condion
qu'ils bénéficient d'une surveillance ou
qu'ils aient reçu des instrucons quant à
l'ulisaon de l'appareil en toute sécurité
et qu'ils comprennent bien les dangers
encourus. Le neoyage et l'entreen par
l'ulisateur ne doivent pas être effectués
par des enfants, à moins qu'ils ne soient
âgés de plus de 8 ans et qu'ils soient sous
la surveillance d'un adulte. Conserver
l'appareil et son câble hors de portée des
enfants âgés de moins de 8 ans.
