How to Install propellers and propellers guards
The folding propellers of the drone are provided with marks A and B and are diagonally opposite.
Each helix is divided into two parts (half helix) and fits on the rotor in one direction only.
1. Clockwise rotating propellers (A on the diagram) on the front left engine and the right rear engine.
2. Anti-clockwise rotation propellers (B on the diagram) on the right front engine and the left rear engine.
3. To replace the propellers first unscrew the screws on the top of the rotor (Figure 1 and 2).
4. After removing the protective cover, pull the two damaged propellers upwards to change them.
5. Replace the two damaged propellers with two new half propellers of the same type (A or B).
6. New propellers must be fully depressed. Then replace the protective cover and tighten again.
Note:
Any maintenance or repair work on the drone must be done with the battery disconnected. Broken or damaged
propellers must be replaced by new propellers, to ensure optimal operation, always use original propellers.

STart to fly
1. Initialization (radio control off): Place the drone on a flat surface and press the On / Off button for a long time, the
indicator lights of the drone will flash slowly indicating the pairing search.
2. Pairing: Turn on the remote control by pressing and holding the ON / OFF button. This will sound an audible alarm
(beep) indicating the frequency search, its indicator light will begin to flash. Push the joystick left up (beep) then down
(beep) to connect / pair the radio control to the drone (Figure 1)
3. Indicator: Once the connection is established the lights of the drone and the remote control will stop flashing.
4. Ignition: To start the drone engines, please simultaneously orient the two joysticks diagonally outward (Figure 2). The
engines come on and the propellers start to turn slowly, the drone is ready to take off.
5. Takeoff: To take off the drone manually, gently move the joystick left up (Figure 3). You can also use the autostart /
landing button, the drone will rise to an altitude of 2m.
6. Landing: To land hold the left joystick down until the drone lands on the ground (Figure 3). You can also use the
autostart / landing button, the drone will land regardless of its altitude.
7. Photo / Video: To take a photo press the top of the Photo / Video button. To start / stop a video recording press the
bottom of the Photo / Video button (Figure 5).
8. Emergency stop: In the event of an in-flight collision or loss of control of the UAV: Use the emergency stop function
while simultaneously holding the two triggers on the top of the radio remote control (Figure 3).
9. Manual Engine Shutdown: When the drone is on a level surface and the engines are unlocked (started), you can stop
the engines by simultaneously pointing the left joystick on the lower right and the right joystick on the lower left. (Figure 5)
10. Battery: When the lights on the drone start flashing quickly: land and charge the battery.
Note: Please always keep your drone on view. In case of low battery level or loss of signals with the radio control, the
drone will land automatically. PNJ does not guarantee the loss of your drone.
Note: To ensure your safety and that of those around you, always drive with the propeller protections.

Automatic take off and landing
1. Take-off: After the automatic take-off / landing button has been pressed for a long time, the drone rises and
stabilizes at an altitude of 2m above its starting position.
2. Landing: After the automatic take-off / landing button has been pressed for a long time, the drone will automatically
descend to the vertical position until it lands on the ground.
After turning on the engines (Figure 1) you can manually lift the drone by holding the left joystick up (Figure 2).
Caution :
1. Always place the drone on a flat surface before pressing the autostart button.
2. You can still maneuver the drone during the take-off and auto landing phases.
3.Too fast acceleration can cause air depression around the sensor and cause altitude losses.

Emergency stop and vertical crash
1. Emergency stop: In the event of a collision or loss of control, you must immediately stop the drone's engines. To do
this, simultaneously press the two emergency stop buttons (Figure 1).
2. Vertical Crash: If the drone crashes in a vertical position it will automatically shut down its engines for safety
to protect the rotors and your environment from damage (Figure 2).
3. Resume the flight: After using the emergency stop function or having crashed into a vertical position, please check
the condition of the drone and then place it on a flat surface. To relaunch, simply press the automatic take-off / landing
button or simultaneously hold both joysticks down and out to unlock the engines.

(1) Initialization of the drone (2) Activation of Return
(longue pression)
How the Back Button Works:
During its initialization, the drone detects its orientation and memorizes it (North for example). By pressing
the return button the drone will automatically move in the opposite direction to the one memorized (so South).
The DR-Wing HD is not equipped with a GPS function, so it is necessary to regain control in order to land it at
the desired location. The drone is always controllable during the return phase.
The drone detects its starting
orientation and memorizes it
(North).
Long press the Back button to
activate the function.
The drone automatically returns
in the opposite direction (South).
!
Headless mode
Activation: At the time of the command the drone saves its orientation and memorizes it (Figure 2: North).
Long press the "CF Mode" button (Figure 2) to activate the direction / orientation lock (Figure 2: North). The radio control
will beep (beep) and the 4 LEDs of the drone flash simultaneously when you activate the CF Mode function.
Explanation: This mode allows you to control the drone without worrying about its direction of flight. If you point the right
joystick forward the drone will go north regardless of its orientation (North / South / East / West) flying at the time of
command (Figure 3). When the CF mode is off, you must always worry about the flight direction / orientation of the drone
(Figure 1). CF mode is ideal for learning to fly.
Mobile App: The CF mode can also be activated from the "AIR PNJ" application and works in the same way.
Caution : If a collision occurs it is possible that the CF mode is no longer functioning properly. In this case, set the drone
immediately and reset the gyroscope and the trimmers (see page 10).
