1. ABOUT LEAD FREE SOLDER (PbF)

Distinction of PbF PCB:

PCBs (manufactured) using leadfree solderwill have a PbF stampon the PCB.

Caution :

-Pb free solder has ahigher melting point than standard solder;

Typicallythe melting point is50 -70°F (30 -40°C)higher. Please

use asoldering iron with temperature control and adjust itto 700 ±

20°F (370 ± 10°C). Incase of using high temperature soldering

iron, please be careful not to heat too long.

-Pb free solder will tend to splash when heated too high (about

1100°F/600°C)

-Thislead free solder will be used for the products after serial No.

1,000,001.

2. FEATUERS

-PLL (Phase Locked Loop) synthesized tuning.

-18-FM, 6-AMpresets with preset scan

-Digital servo for reliableCD playback.

-Removableface plate.

-RDS(RadioData System) function.

3. LASER PRODUCTS

4. FUSE

Use fuses of the same specifiedrating (15A). Using different substitutes orfuses withhigher

ratings, orconnecting the unit directlywithout a fuse, couldcause fire ordamage tothe unit.

5. MAINTENANCE

Wipe the unit witha soft drycloth. / Neverapplyvolatile liquids suchas benzine and thinnerto

prevent damage

6. NOTES

[RADIO BLOCK]

Donot align the AM/FM package block. Whenthe package block is necessary, it will be supplied

alreadyalignedat the factory.

[CD DECK BLOCK]

This model has no servoalignment points because microcomputercontrols the servocircuit.
