Terminology used in this manual
The central heating boiler water circuit is called rimary
The domestic hot water is called secondary (dhw)
1. Introdu tion
Thank you for urchasing the Oso Termo range electric central heating boiler.
To ensure a correct and safe installation and economical use, lease read these instructions thoroughly before
installation.

1.3. Features & benefits
TERMO roducts are modulating and economical central heating boilers that may be used as inde endent or
additional source of heat.
The boiler rovides wet system central heating by assing the rimary water over the immersion heaters. Heating
elements are located on under-side of boiler ensuring elements are constantly immersed in heating medium
(water with a ro riate inhibitor).
Power is modulated automatically to control 1, 2 or 3 immersion elements with
built in ste regulator or manually with switches on the control board.
The boiler o erates on rinci le of ra id heating smaller water quantities, energy use is 100% efficient.
Power out uts available are 4.8, 6, 7.2, 10.8, 14.4 kW.
The boiler has an automatic um overrun for both central and water heating that revents a build u of heat in
the boiler. The boiler reservoir is insulated with 19 mm self-extinguishing Armaflex insulating material, which is
sufficient to direct the heat only to the heating system. Tem erature o eration can range from 20
o
C to 90
o
C.
1.4. Operation of domesti hot water (where appli able)
1.4.1. Availability
Termo PTV boilers are designed to control a se arate indirect water storage cylinder.
1.4.2. Operation
Domestic water heating has the reference over central heating. When the cylinder thermostat calls for heat, the
s ace heating circulation um is switched off and domestic hot water um is switched on. (Honeywell ST6400)
Recommended tem erature inside boiler while heating domestic hot water is 75
o
C – 80
o
C.
