Safety
• If theproduct is not to be used for anextended period
thebatteries should be removed. Batteries left in thepro-
duct have thepotential to leak and cause damage.
• Do not mix battery types or old and new batteries.
• Theproduct is intended for indoor useonly. Theproduct
must not be exposed to rain or high humidity.
Inserting batteries
Mains adaptor Care and maintenance
Clean thestar lamp using asoft, dampcloth. Useamild clea-
ning agent – never use asolvent or strong, abrasive cleaning
agent as these could damage theproduct.
Disposal
Thestar lamp should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local council.

Suitable mains adaptor 36-5777/18-2925 (4.5 V DC, 500mA,
with centre-positive connector)

1. Slidethebattery cover in thedirection of thearrow and
removeit.
2. Insert 3×AA/LR6 1.5 V batteries (sold separately) in
accordance with themarkings in thebatterybox.
3. Refitthebattery cover onto thebatterybox.
Thestar lamp can also be powered by amains AC/DC
adaptor (sold separately). Acompatible mains adaptor is Clas
Ohlson Art.no 36-5777/18-2925. PlugtheDC connector into
thesocket by thearrow. Ifamains adaptor is used, thebatteries
are automatically circumvented to save theirpower.
Operating instructions
Operation using thepower switch
• Continuously on or off.
• Set theselector switch to either [ON] to switch thelight on,
or [OFF] to switch itoff.
Operation using thetimer function
• 8 hours on and 16 hours off in acontinuous cycle.
• Set thepower switch to the [TIMER] position. TheLEDs
will stay switched on for 8 hours and then switch off for
16hours before coming on again for 8hours, and so on in
acycle. Thisoperating cycle will continue until thebatteries
are discharged or until theselector switch is set to either
[OFF] or [ ON].
