Safety
• Avoid looking directly into thelight source. Doing so may
damage your eyesight.
• Only use therecommended type of rechargeable batteries.
• This product must not be modified or adapted in any way.
• Only let aqualified technician perform repairs and using
only original spare parts.
• Do not let children play with theproduct.
• NEVER use non-rechargeable batteries in thelight.
Operating instructions
1. Open thedoor and set thepush button power switch above
thecandle to ON (pushed in) before charging thelight.
2. The battery in thelight must be charged for at least 8 hours
in full sunlight before it becomes fully charged. Bear in
mind that thesolar light will charge best when exposed to
direct sunlight.
3. The battery can also be removed and charged in aseparate
charger (not included). It is advisable to maintenance charge
thebattery in aseparate charger from time to time,
especially during thedarker seasons. Procedure:
a. Carefully remove thetop
of thesolar light using
ascrewdriver or similar.
Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct using asoft, moist cloth. Only use mild
detergents; never use solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning
agents for cleaning as these can damage theproduct.
Set thepower switch above thecandle to OFF (not pushed in)
before putting thelight away for storage.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local council.

c. Remove thesolar panel
(the lid) from thebattery
holder and charge
thebattery in aseparate
charger (sold separately).
d. Re-insert thebattery
in accordance with
themarkings in
thebattery holder.
Warning: Only rechargeable NiMH batteries should be used.
NEVER use non-rechargeable batteries in thelight.
