IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This product is designed for household use only -
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precauons should always be followed,
including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock and personal injury, do not immerse this appliance,
including cord and plug, in water or other liquid.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely before
pung on or taking o parts, and before cleaning.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or aer the appliance
malfuncons or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid hazards, return appliance to
NESCO® Factory Service Department for examinaon, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory aachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in
re, electric shock or injury to persons.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner or in a heated oven.
12. Do not use appliance for other than its intended use, as described in this manual.
13. Do not use metal scouring pads on the exterior surface of the appliance.
14. Operate appliance only when all parts are fully engaged and secured.
15. Keep hands and utensils away from the blades when in use.
16. When blending HOT liquids, use cauon and always remove Measuring Cup from cover.
17. Do not operate without cover in place.
18. Do not operate without food or liquid in Jar.
19. Do not use appliance to cut frozen foods, bones or pied fruits.
20. Make sure the motor stops completely and power cord is removed before removing or
assembling any items.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to t into polarized outlet only one way. If
the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it sll does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not try to modify the plug in any way.
Short Cord Instrucons: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulng
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used
if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rang of
the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rang of the appliance. The longer cord
should be arranged so that it will not drape over the tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over unintenonally.

Cover - Easy to clean and used to keep foods inside the jar.
Measuring Cup - Remove to add your favorite ingredients while blending.
Jar - Capacity 6 Cups [1500mL]. Made of tempered glass for many years of use and
dishwasher safe.
Cung Blades - SHARP! Unique design will blend food quick and smooth.
PULSE buon - Touch and hold. Blender will cycle rapidly for quick blending.
ICE buon - One touch and the blender will cycle slower to chop ice evenly.
SMOOTHIE buon - Automacally controls the speed of the blender to mix your favorite
smoothie.
SPEED Control “-” and “+” - Touch to decrease or increase speed of the blender.
TIMER buon -Set for automac med operaon of the blender.
MENU buon - Select various sengs for automac me and speed operaon
ON/OFF buon - Press to turn the appliance ON or OFF.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Read and understand all instrucons and keep for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging.
3. Remove the Jar Base and Cung Blade Assembly (see Care and Cleaning secon). Wash
the Jar, Lid and Measuring Cup in warm soapy water. NOTE: Be careful when handling the
blades are sharp.
4. Rinse, Dry and Re-assemble blender parts.
5. Wipe the Blender Base with a damp cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE BLENDER BASE IN
WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

OPERATION
1. Place base on a at, stable surface.
2. Be sure the unit is disconnected from electrical outlet before installing or removing any
components.
3. Place Jar onto Base, aligning tabs, and turn slightly clockwise to lock into place. Unit has
a safety design which will not operate if the Jar is not posioned properly onto the Base.
4. Fill Jar with desired foods. Do not exceed Maximum ll line (Max = 50 oz. / 1500mL).
5. DO NOT USE BLENDER WHILE EMPTY OR WITHOUT JAR AND COVER IN PLACE.
6. Place cover onto Jar and push rmly to secure.
7. Install Measuring Cup and turn to lock. If blending hot foods, remove measuring cup
from cover while blending.
8. Set the control dial to ‘OFF’ and connect the cord to 120V electrical outlet.
9. Turn the knob to ‘ON’ posion. Backlight will turn on, indicang power is ON.
10. For auto sengs, press PULSE, ICE or SMOOTHIE to operate in corresponding mode.
11. To adjust speed, turn control dial between Minimum (lowest speed) and Maximum
(highest speed) to choose desired speed seng.
NOTE: DO NOT OPERATE UNIT CONTINUOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 2 MINUTES.
CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn control dial to OFF and unplug cord from power outlet.
2. Clean base with a so, wet cloth and mild cleaning soluon. Wipe dry.
3. To clean the Jar, ll halfway with water and mild cleaning soluon, cover and operate at
low speed for 1 - 2 minutes unl clean.
4. Remove Jar and empty contents, rinse and dry thoroughly. CAUTION - BLADES ARE SHARP,
USE CARE WHEN CLEANING!
5. Never use aggresive cleansers or metal scouring pads to clean components.

This appliance is warranted for one year from date of original purchase against defects in
material and workmanship. This warranty does not cover transportaon damage, misuse,
accident or similar incident. This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may have
other rights, which vary from state to state. This product is intended for household use only,
not for commercial use. Warranty does not cover commercial use.
Your new NESCO® appliance comes equipped with numerous safety features. Any aempt
to interfere with the operaon of these safety features makes this warranty null and void.
In the event we receive an appliance for service that has been tampered with, we reserve
the right to restore it to its original state and charge for the repair.
For service in warranty - Defecve products may be returned, postage prepaid, with a
descripon of the defect to: The Metal Ware Corporaon, 1700 Monroe Street, Two Rivers,
Wisconsin 54241, for no-charge repair or replacement at our opon.
Must include proof of purchase or copy of original bill of sale when returning product for
warranty service.
Please call Customer Sasfacon at 1-800-288-4545 to obtain a Return Authorizaon
before shipping.
• For service in warranty, follow instrucons set forth in warranty. When ordering new
parts, make sure that you always menon the model number of the product.
• Call us on our toll free number, 1-800-288-4545 and tell us about your problem.
• If we instruct you to send all or part of your appliance to us for repair or replacement,
our Customer Sasfacon representave will provide a Return Authorizaon number
(this number noes our receiving department to expedite your repair). Pack your unit
carefully in a sturdy carton with sucient padding to prevent damage because any
damage caused in shipping is not covered by the warranty.
• Print your name, address and Return Authorizaon number on the carton.
• Write a leer explaining the problem. Include the following: your name, address and
telephone number and a copy of the original bill of sale.
• Aach the sealed envelope containing the leer inside the carton. Insure the package for
the value of the NESCO® appliance and ship prepaid to:

16. Lors de la superposion liquides chauds, prudence et rerez toujours mesure graduée du couvercle

19. N’ulisez pas l’appareil à couper les surgelés, les os ou piquées fruits.
20. Assurez-vous que le moteur s’arrête complètement et le cordon d’alimentaon est reré
avant la dépose ou du remontage des éléments.
CONSERVER CES DIRECTIVES
Fiche polarisée: Cet appareil possède une che polarisée (une branche est plus large que l’autre). Pour
réduire le risque de choc électrique, la che est conçue pour entrer dans la prise polarisée d’une seule
façon. Si la che n’entre pas correctement dans la prise, retourner la che. Si elle n’entre toujours pas
correctement, communiquer avec un électricien qualié. Ne pas tenter de modier la che.
Direcves relaves au cordon court: Un cordon d’alimentaon court est fourni dans le but de réduire le
risque de s’y empêtrer ou de trébucher. Des rallonges peuvent convenir si elles sont ulisées avec prudence.
En cas d’ulisaon d’une rallonge, les caractérisques électriques indiquées sur le cordon doivent être au
moins celles inscrites sur l’appareil. Le cordon long ne doit pas s’étendre d’un côté à l’autre du dessus de la
table où les enfants pourraient le rer ou quelqu’un pourrait trébucher involontairement.

SMOOTHIE bouton - One touch contrôle la vitesse à mélanger votre favori smoothie.
SPEED Control “-” and “+” - Appuyez sur pour diminuer ou augmenter la vitesse du blender
TIMER bouton -Jeu de fonconnement automaque temporisé du blender.
MENU bouton - Séleconner les divers paramètres de réglage automaque de l’heure et
fonconnement à vitesse rapide
ON/OFF bouton - Appuyez sur la touche pour mere l’appareil sous tension ou hors tension.
AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
1. Lire et comprendre toutes les instrucons et conservez-les pour référence future.
2. Rerez tous les emballages.
3. Rerez le bol de base et lame de coupe (voir “Entreen et neoyage secon). Laver le
bol, le couvercle et la mesure graduée dans l’eau chaude savonneuse. REMARQUE : soyez
prudent lorsque vous manipulez les lames sont tranchantes.
4. Rincer, sécher et ré-assembler blender pièces.
5. Essuyez le socle du blender avec un chion humide. Ne plongez jamais le socle du
blender DANS DE L’EAU OU dans tout autre liquide.
