WARNING: When using electric appliances, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
• Do not cover lens while in use.
• WARNING: Do not use near ammable liquids,
gases, or in high temperatures where batteries may
explode.
• Do not use in water or wet conditions. Store in a
clean, dry environment. Do not place or store
appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub
or sink.
• Keep out of reach of children. This is not a toy. Keep
close supervision when product is in use

• Bulb may become hot during use:
o During or immediately after use, do not lay tool
at on light lens surface or place lens area in
contact with a plastic or fabric covered surface.
o Handle tool with care around any ammable
surface.
o Do not use or permit use of tool in bed or
sleeping bags. This tool lens can melt fabric and
a burn injury could result.
• Do not let gasoline, oils, petroleum-based products,
etc. come in contact with plastic parts. They contain
chemicals that can damage, weaken, or destroy
plastic.
• CAUTION: Never stare directly into light or point
in someone’s eyes as this could cause eye damage.
• Strong impacts may cause damage to the product;
please handle with care.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, ush with water for a minimum of 10 minutes.
If liquid contacts eyes, immediately seek medical
help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
• For best results, your battery tool should be charged
in a location where the temperature is more than
50°F (10˚C) but less than 104˚F (40˚C). Do not store

outside or in vehicles.
• NOTE: Work light contains a strong magnet in stand-
up base. Do not set work light on or near computer
equipment, computer disks or other types of magnetic
storage or equipment. Magnetic elds can erase data.
• Never use a cord to carry the light.
This product has been shipped completely assembled.
• Carefully remove the tool and any accessories from
the box. Make sure that the light and both chargers are
included.
• Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or
damage occurred during shipping.
• Do not discard the packing material until you have
carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool.
• Please check light for damage or cracks before using
as this can cause the product to fail or injure the user.
• Plug the unit into an insulated Class I (three prong with

grounding plug) extension cord.
o WARNING Do not attempt to power your light
using an extension cord that does not have the
3rd grounding plug, do not use a cheater plug,
and do not remove the 3rd grounding plug from
your light. Attempting to power using one of
these methods could lead to an electric shock.
• Make sure that the length, gauge, and wattage rating
of your plug are sufcient to handle the requirements
for your light.
• Make sure that the cord is located so that it will not
be stepped on, tripped over, come in contact with
sharp edges or moving parts, or otherwise subjected
to damage or stress. This will reduce the risk of
accidental falls, which could cause injury and damage
to the cord, which could then result in electric shock.
• The stand legs can be collapsed around the extension
cord safely for hand held use.
• WARNING: Check the extension cord for exposed
wiring or damage, as a damaged wire could lead to
re or electric shock.
• To switch work light to ON, press button above the
tripod to the “I” position.
• To switch work light OFF, press button above the
tripod to the “O” position.
• Ensure light is securely attached with tripod or hook
before working under unit to prevent injury or
damage.

• Hook is designed only to support the weight of the
work light. Do not attempt to hang other articles
using this product.
WARNING: Procedure not specically explained in the manual
must be performed only by a qualied technician.
• WARNING: RISK OF SEVERE BURNS. LAMP HEAD
AND BULB ARE EXTREMELY HOT DURING AND
IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE. Touching lamp heads or
bulbs with bare hands while work light is on can cause
severe burns.
• Cleaning instructions: Wipe down with a dry or
slightly damp cloth.
• Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types
of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their
use.
• WARNING: Do not at any time let brake uid,
gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils,
etc. to come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals
can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may
result in serious personal injury
MAINTENANCE

• Always make sure the unit is in the OFF position and
unplugged when replacing the bulb.
• If the bulb feels hot after use, allow it to cool down
or wear insulated gloves before removing to avoid risk
of burn injury.
• Top housing around the bulb unscrews from the base
just below the MYCHANIC® logo.
• Remove bulb carefully by unscrewing counter-clock
wise from grooves.
• Replace with E26 or E27 type replacement bulb,
screwing in clockwise.
• Do not tighten too much as this will make the bulb
difcult to remove.
• Replace the protective cover by screwing the base
unit back into the housing.
• Works with class I appliance extension cords

whether express, implied or statutory. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of consequential or incidental damages, so
the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you
specic legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary
from state to state.
Any attempt to self-repair the product by loosening the fastening
screws will void the limited warranty. Valid only in the USA.
