Augenabstand
Bitte falten Sie Ihr MINOX Fernglas
so, daß die beiden Sehfelder ein
kreisrundes Bild ergeben. Dazu
müssen Sie den Abstand der bei-
den Okulare auf Ihren Augenab-
stand abstimmen.
Scharfstellung
Um eine optimale Einstellung auf
die individuelle Sehleistung Ihrer
Augen zu gewährleisten, beachten
Sie bitte folgende Hinweise:
(a) Zunächst avisieren Sie ein weit
entferntes Beobachtungsobjekt.
Bei geschlossenem rechten
Auge fokussieren Sie mit Hilfe
des zentralen Mitteltriebs (3)
das Beobachtungsobjekt so,
daß Sie für Ihr linkes Auge die
optimale Scharfstellung errei-
chen.
Interpupillary distance
Please fold your MINOX binoculars
so that both fields of view form a
perfectly round image. In order to
achieve this, the distance between
the two eyepieces must be adju-
sted to match the distance bet-
ween your eyes.
Focusing
For optimal adjustment of the
binoculars to your individual eye-
sight, please observe the following
instructions:
(a) First, line up on a far away
object. Close your right eye
and focus on the object by tur-
ning the central drive (3) until
you have achieved a perfectly
clear image of the object with
your left eye.

Écart interpupillaire
Repliez vos jumelles MINOX jus-
qu’à ce que les deux champs de
vision forment une image parfaite-
ment ronde. Pour cela, réglez l’é-
cart entre les deux oculaires par
rapport à votre écart interpupillai-
re.
Mise au point
Pour une mise au point parfaite-
ment adaptée à votre vue, nous
vous recommandons d’observer les
instructions suivantes:
(a) Visez d’abord un objet-test très
éloigné. Fermez l’oeil droit et
faites la mise au point sur cet
objet à l’aide de la molette
centrale (3) jusqu’à ce que vous
obteniez une mise au point
optimale pour votre oeil gau-
che.
Distancia interocular
Por favor pliege sus binoculares
MINOX de tal forma que los dos
campos de visión resulten en un
imagen circular. Para esto Ud.
tiene que adaptar los dos oculares
a la distancia de sus ojos.
Enfoque de precisión
Para garantizar un enfoque ópti-
mo en relación con la acudeza
visual de cada uno de sus ojos,
Ud. tiene que tener en cuenta las
siguientes indicaciones:
(a) Primero divise un objeto en la
distancia. Manteniendo el ojo
derecho cerrado, enfoque con
la ayuda del mando central (3)
el objeto divisado hasta encon-
trar el enfoque de precisión
óptimo para su ojo izquierdo.
Distanza interpupillare
Regolare il binocolo in modo tale
che l’immagine data dai due
campi visivi sia di forma circolare.
A questo scopo è necessario adat-
tare la distanza degli assi oculari
alla distanza interpupillare.
Messa a fuoco
Per garantire una regolazione otti-
male in base alla capacità visiva
individuale degli occhi Vi consiglia-
mo di osservare le seguenti avver-
tenze:
(a) Cercare prima l’oggetto da
osservare a distanza. Chiudere
l’occhio destro e focalizzare
l’oggetto utilizzando la rotella
di messa a fuoco centrale (3) in
modo da ottenere una perfetta
messa a fuoco con l’occhio
sinistro.

(b) Bei geschlossenem linken Auge
fokussieren Sie nun das gleiche
Beobachtungsobjekt für das
rechte Auge. Die optimale
Scharfstellung erreichen Sie
jetzt jedoch unter Verwendung
des Dioptrien-Ausgleichs (2).
(c) Ihr MINOX Fernglas ist nun auf
die individuelle Sehleistung
Ihrer Augen abgestimmt. Für
die Fokussierung verschiedener
Beobachtungsobjekte in unter-
schiedlichen Entfernungen be-
nutzen Sie bitte nur noch den
Mitteltrieb.
Achtung:
Mit einem Fernglas nicht in die
Sonne blicken, es könnte zu
Augenverletzungen führen.
(b) Now, close your left eye and
focus on the same object using
your right eye. The binoculars
can now be optimally focused
by using the diopter adjust-
ment (2).
(c) Your MINOX binoculars are
now adjusted to your individual
eyesight. Objects at varying
distances can now be focused
on merely by adjusting the cen-
tral drive.
Caution:
Do not use the binoculars to
look at the sun. This could lead
to eye injuries.

(b) Fermez maintenant l’oeil gau-
che et faites la mise au point
sur le même objet pour l’oeil
droit. C’est ici au moyen de la
compensation dioptrique (2)
que vous obtiendrez une mise
au point optimale.
(c) Vos jumelles sont maintenant
adaptées à votre vue person-
nelle. Pour effectuer la mise au
point sur d’autres objets situés
à des distances différentes, il
vous suffit désormais d’utiliser
la molette centrale.
Attention:
ne pas regarder avec une
jumelle directement vers le
soleil, car cela pourrait occa-
sionner une blessure des yeux.
(b) Manteniendo el otro ojo cerra-
do enfoque el mismo objeto
con el ojo derecho. Sin embar-
go el enfoque de precisión
óptimo se obtiene ahora usan-
do la compensación dióptrica.
(c) Sus binoculares MINOX están
ahora adaptados a la acudeza
visual de cada uno de sus ojos.
Para enfocar objetos distintos a
diferentes distancias por favor
use únicamente el mando cen-
tral de enfoque.
Atención:
Se aconseja no mirar al sol con
prismáticos. Puede causar lesio-
nes en los ojos.
(b) Chiudere poi l’occhio sinistro e
mettere a fuoco lo stesso
oggetto con l’occhio destro.
Grazie alla compensazione
diottrica (2) è possibile ottenere
ora una messa a fuoco perfet-
ta.
(c) Il Vostro binocolo MINOX è ora
adattato alla capacità visiva
individuale dei Vostri occhi. Per
focalizzare oggetti diversi da
diverse distanze utilizzare d’ora
in poi solamente la rotella di
messa a fuoco centrale.
Attenzione:
Non guardare direttamente in
direzione del sole con canno-
cchiali; ciò potrebbe prvocare
lesioni agli occhi.
