The Flexoret Vll is o fully-outomotic twin-le;i reflex comero. Twelve pictures
6X6 cm or 16 pictures 4,5X6 cm in size con be mode on 82 roll filnr, or 3t
up to 34 pictures 24X36 mm or 43 to 46 pictures 24x24 mm in size on
35 cin6 film.
The focussing is corried out by the movement of o focussing lever within the
limits of obout 1100
from 1 m in infinity (-), the two lenses being moved
simultoneously.
ln order to enoble speedy focussing odjustment the focussing
lever is provided with cotches for neor medium ond infinite ("") distonce.
These cotches con be dispensed with ond the lever moves then continuously.
The comero is equipped with o depth-of-focus
scole engroved on the focussing
lever proper. To focilitote the focussing o mognifier is used which con be
tilted over the ground-gloss. The imoge seen on the ground gloss screen
is not reversed verticolly ond it is perfectly bright. The snopshots con olso
be token from eye level by odjusting the viewfinder to eye-level shots
(direct vision - D. V. finder). This method is used to odvontoge when toking
ropid sporting snopshots. The toking lens proper is o BELAR four-gloss
onostigmot f 3.5, F:80 mm, which olso is used os o viewing lens, Both
lenses ore provided with ontireflection cooting.
The mounts of the two lenses ore fitted with B 36 boyonet tock for ottoching
the filters ond odopter lenses.
A sunshode con be fixed to the boyonet lock
B40 on the outer mount of the toking lens.
The Prestor shutter is o five-lomelloe centrol-type shutter with outomotic
releose (deloyed oction) ond o floshlight synchronizer.
The shutter cocking is
outomotic ond is effected simultoneously with film rewinding. However, the.
shutter con be cocked ond releosed orbitrorily even without simultoneous
film
rewinding.
The comero shutter releose is of o push-button type, with threoded operture
for flexible wire releose. lt is interlocked with the rewinding mechonism. ln
oddition, on the comero body there is o device securing the comero releose
ogoinst undesiroble releosing of the shutter.
The film rewinding is corried out by the rewind knob, fitted on the right-hond
side of the instrument. When rewinding the beginning of the film up to the
first exposure ond the film end ofter the twelfth exposure, the knob con be
turned continuously.
From the first exposure up to the twelfth the rewind knob
is outomoticolly locked in position ofter the film length corresponding to one
picture hos been rewound. Simultoneously the shutter is cocked ond the
comero releose releosed. By its depressing up to the stop when the negotive
is being exposed, the rewind knob is releosed onew ond it con be turned
ogoin. As long os the respective
film length hos not been rewound, no expo-
sure con be mode. Hence, the film (negotive) connot be odvonced without
being exposed,
ond no further exposure
con be mode on the negotive
which hos
olreody been exposed.
