Standard Cab Installation Instructions:

1. Disconnect rear flasher light harness and remove two-post ROPS from machine. Save

fasteners to re-use later.

2.Take the left front bracket and position it against the tractor bell housing matching the bolt

pattern of the bracket. Use three washer spacers per side if no loader is present. If loader is

present remove the three fasteners that will be used by the mounting bracket. Using the

provided M14 x 50mm fine thread bolts, loosely attach the mounting bracket. Do NOT torque

until after the cab is installed.

3. Repeat step 2 for the right front bracket.

4.Remove the two cab doors by un-hooking the gas shock at the ball stud mounted to the door.

To remove the gas shock on the left cab door, slide a flat screwdriver underneath the small clip

on the end cap that must be pulled UP order to pop the shock off of the ball stud. The shock

will release very easily when this is accomplished. Lift the door assembly straight up and off of

the cab and put aside for now. Take one ½” x 4 ½” hex bolt and fasten to the mount at the top

of the B-post where a weld nut is located. Repeat for the other side.

5. Using a chain or lift strap, connect the lift bolts to an over head hoist or forklift.

6. Un-bolt the cab from the front and rear shipping brackets and lift the cab off of the shipping

pallet. Lift cab over tractor. Slowly lower down until the front and rear isolators contact the

mounting plates. The cab should be lowered straight down so that the rear brackets fit onto

the location where two-post ROPS was mounted.

7. Using one 5/8” x 3” bolt, heavy flat washer, and flange nut, start the front bracket isolator

fasteners. NOTE: the heavy flat washer is used on the bottom of the isolator underneath the

bracket.

December 2021© Kubota BX2360-2660 ROPS Cab Installation Manual

8. Once all isolators are started, torque the isolator fasteners to 200 ft-lbs. The M12 rear nuts

should be torqued to 98 ft-lbs. The front bracket M14 fasteners should be torqued to 130 ft-

lbs.

9.Remove the lift straps/chain and lift bolt from cab frame. Re-install the cab doors.

10. Route the main cab harness towards the battery. Connect the 10GA red wire to the positive

side of the battery with the provided 1/4" loop connector. Shorten wire if necessary, then

solder connector to wire.

11. Route the 10GA black wire to the negative side of the battery and connect to ground

terminal with provided 1/4" loop. Short wire if necessary, then solder connector onto wire.

12. Take the flasher lights from the 2-post ROPS and attach to tabs on rear of cab.

13. Take the SMV sign mount from the ROPS and attach to the rear shield of the cab, through

the two holes provided.
