Compact and Affordable

Every day, the staff of a typical office or workgroup are challenged with

complex printing demands. The magicolor 2550 Series printers were

designed to meet their specific needs. These versatile color laser

printers deliver the ease of use, compatibility, and professional quality

they require, but at the same time they fit within space and budget

constraints.

In fact, the magicolor 2550 EN and 2550 DN are the perfect fit for

almost any desktop and budget. Although compact enough for

practically any workspace, they can easily handle the demanding

requirements of both small offices and workgroups.

Designed for quiet operation, the unobtrusive magicolor 2550 Series

printers are available at little more than a moment’s notice, delivering

the first black-and-white page in as little as 13 seconds and the first

color page in only 22 seconds.

Full front access means reloading supplies and clearing media jams is a

snap, so space is not an issue. In addition, professional-quality color

and cost-effective, high-capacity toner cartridges (4,500 prints) keep

printing in-house, saving both time and money.

Printing Power and Performance

The magicolor 2550 Series printers feature Emperon printing

technology, which boosts printer performance and enhances image

quality while simplifying the entire printing process. More than just a

controller, Emperon is a robust combination of hardware functionality

and software tools that provides unprecedented ease of printer

installation and management as well as the printing quality, speed, and

versatility that today's competitive businesses require. The 300 MHz

PowerPC CPU quickly processes even the most complex files while the

DDR SDRAM doubles the data throughput and swiftly delivers print jobs.

Both printers handle all common types of business media (plain paper,

thick stock, glossy stock, transparencies, labels, and envelopes), and

the magicolor 2550 DN includes automatic two-sided printing. An

optional hard disk provides additional storage for fonts, forms, and

profiles; electronic collation; job accounting; direct PDF 1.4 printing; and

secure printing functions.

Key Features

It’s no longer necessary to rely on larger, more

expensive printers to have the quality, speed, and

functionality you require.

The magicolor 2550 EN and 2550 DN fit

unobtrusively in any environment. They’re

perfect for field employees who need to

print a quick document or two from a

laptop while visiting the main office.

Ease of Setup and Operation

Easy setup and operation are hallmarks of KONICA MINOLTA printers,

and the magicolor 2550 EN and 2550 DN are no different. Pre-installed

4,500-page, high-capacity toner cartridges and auto-install software

mean they are out of the box and printing in just minutes.

Customers in networked environments will be pleased to find that the

installation software automatically detects the printer on the network and

quickly guides them through printer setup.

Print jobs can be customized easily with comprehensive printer drivers

that offer collation, fit-to-page scaling, separation pages, watermarks,

tray selection, and many other features. The PageScope™ suite of

printer utilities offers robust printer configuration and management for

remote network administrators while the embedded PageScope Web

Connection allows all customers to monitor print activity and supply

levels without having to walk over to the device.
