1 Purpose
This document is a quick guide for safely installing and implementing Kerio Control Box 1000
and 3000 Series UTM appliances.
2 General Safety Instructions
During installation follow these security instructions:
•Theapplianceshouldbeplacedonaatsurfaceorsecurelymountedhorizontallyinrack
enclosure.
•Donotattempttoopenordisassembletheapplianceforanyreason.
•Strictlyfollowtheinstallationinstructions(seesection4).
•Donotplacetheappliancenearaheatsource.
•Placetheapplianceinaventilatedspace,makingsurethattheappliancefansandventsare
unobstructedatalltimes.
•Donotexposetheappliancetoliquidsofanykind.Intheeventofliquidintrusion,unplug
the appliance immediately.
•Verifythatthevoltageandfrequencyofthepowersocketmatchesthevaluesprintedon
thepoweradapterbeforepluggingintheappliance.Useonlythepoweradaptersupplied
with the appliance.
•Donotplaceanyitemsontopofthepowercable;keepthepowercableawayfromwalk-
waysorotherareaswhereitcouldposeatrippinghazard.

2 Bezpečnostní pokyny
Běheminstalacezařízenídodržujtenásledujícíbezpečnostnípokyny:
•Zařízeníbymělobýtumístěnonarovnouplochunebopevněnainstalovánodorackuve
vodorovnépoloze.
•Zažádnýchokolnostíneotevírejteanerozebírejtezařízení.
•Postupujtepřesněpodleinstalačníhonávodu(vizsekce4).
•Neumisťujtezařízenídoblízkostitepelnýchzdrojů.
•Umístětezařízenídovětranéhoprostoruazajistěte,abynemohlodojítkzakrytíventilátorů
avětracíchotvorů.
•Zabraňtepolitíavniknutíjakékolivkapalinydozařízení.Vpřípaděpolitíihnedodpojte
zařízeníodelektrickésítě.
•Předpřipojenímzařízenísepřesvědčte,ženapětíafrekvencevrozvodnésítiodpovídají
hodnotámuvedenýmnaštítkunapájecíhoadaptéru.Používejtepouzenapájecíadaptér
dodávanýsezařízením.
•Nepokládejtežádnépředmětynanapájecíkabel.Kabelveďtemimomísta,kdebymohlbrá-
nitvolnémuprůchoduosob.
