INSTRUCTIONS

To minimise the possibility of sc lding when

blending hot ingredients keep h nds nd

other exposed skin w y from the lid to

prevent possible burns. The following

prec utions must be observed:

●CAUTION: Blending very hot

ingredients may result in hot

liquid and steam being forced

suddenly past the lid or filler cap

.

●e recommend that hot

ingredients are allowed to cool

before blending.

●NEVER exceed 1200ml / 5 cups

c p city if processing hot liquids, such

s soups (refer to the m rkings on the

goblet).

●AL AYS commence blending t low

speed nd gr du lly incre se the speed.

NEVER blend hot liquids by using the

Pulse setting.

●Liquids which tend to fo m such s milk,

should be limited to m ximum c p city

of 1000ml/4 cups.

hot.

lid. The lid is designed to be tight fit to

prevent le k ge. If necess ry protect

your h nds with cloth or oven gloves

when h ndling.

1 Fit the bl de unit 햵into the b se

햶.

2 Then screw the goblet onto the

b se – ensuring the bl de b se is

fully tightened .

3 Put your ingredients into the

goblet.

4 Fit the lid by pushing down until

secure. (Ensure one of the

protrusions on the lid fits over the

spout on the goblet.)

5 Pl ce the filler c p into the lid nd

push down to secure.

6 Remove the high speed outlet

cover .

7 Pl ce the blender over the outlet,

turn clockwise nd t the s me

time push down until the unit

eng ges . Then turn further

clockwise until the tt chment

locks into position.

8 Switch to the required speed (refer

to the recommended us ge ch rt).

9 Once the desired consistency h s

been chieved, switch off nd

remove the blender supporting it

with both h nds.

round the goblet slowly whilst the

motor is oper ting.

the ingredients, except the oil, into

the blender. Then, with the

m chine running, remove the filler

evenly.

●Thick mixtures, e.g. pâté, dips: use

low to medium speed, scr ping

down when necess ry. If the

mixture is difficult to process, dd

more liquid nd use the stir stick

supplied. Altern tively use the

pulse setting to get the ingredients

moving over the bl des.

●When crushing ice, process sm ll

Pulse setting. It is dvis ble to hold

1 clove garlic crushed

800g (1lb 12oz) carrot cut into

2.5cm cubes

cold chicken stock

10-15ml (2-3tsp) ground coriander

salt and pepper

1 Melt the butter in p n, dd the

onion nd g rlic nd fry until soft.

2 Pl ce the c rrot into the liquidiser,

dd the onion nd g rlic. Add

sufficient stock to re ch the 1.6 L

level m rked on the goblet. Fit the

lid nd filler c p.

3 Blend on m ximum speed for 5

seconds for co rse soup or

longer for finer result.

4 Tr nsfer the mixture to s ucep n,

dd the cori nder nd se soning

nd simmer the soup for 30 to 35

minutes or until cooked.
