ISTRUZIONI GENERALI
PER FAVORE, PRENDETE IL TEMPO DI LEGGERE BENE
L’AVVERTENZA DI UTILIZZAZIONE PARTICOLARMENTE PRIMA DI LA
PRIMAUTILIZZAZIONE.
Un cattivo uso dell’apparecchio può danneggiarlo o può ferire l’utente.
Assicuratevi che utilizzate l’apparecchio per l’uso per che è concepito;
riutiamo ogni responsabilità in quanto ai danni trascinati da un’utilizzazione
scorretta o una cattiva manipolazione.
1. Prima dell’uso vericare che la tensione della presa a muro corrisponda
alla tensione nominale.
2. Se il cavo è danneggiato, farlo sostituire da un produttore o dall’assistenza
o personale qualicato per evitare danneggiamenti o pericoli(*).
3. Far attenzione che il cavo non sporga da banchi o tavoli o che tocchi
superci calde.
4. Per ridurre il rischio di scossa elettrica, non utilizzare mai questo prodotto
con le mani umide, né versare liquidi sul prodotto o immergerlo in acqua.
5. Non toccare la supercie calda. Usare solo maniglie o pomelli.
6. Sorveglianza diretta è necessaria se l’apparecchio è usato in prossimità di
bambini o persone disabili.
7. Non porre un apparecchio al di sopra o accanto a gas caldo o in un forno
riscaldato.
8. Non usare all’esterno (solo uso domestico).
9. Per evitare il rischio di infortunio personale, questo prodotto non deve
essere utilizzato da bambini o persone che non hanno familiarità con
queste istruzioni.
10. Non usare il vuoto
11. Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini di età superiore agli
8 anni e persone con ridotte capacità mentali, siche o sensoriali o prive
di esperienza e conoscenze in merito, in presenza di altre persone che
ne sorveglino l’operato o ricevano istruzioni sull’uso dell’apparecchio in
modo sicuro e ne comprendano i pericoli. I bambini non devono giocare
con l’apparecchio. Pulizia e manutenzione non deve essere eettuata da
bambini a meno che non abbiamo oltre 8 anni e sotto supervisione.
12. Tenere l’apparecchio e il cavo fuori dalla portata dei bambini al di sotto
degli 8 anni.
13. Il dispositivo non è progettato per essere messo in funzione per mezzo di
un temporizzatore esterno o di un sistema di controllo remoto separato.
14. La temperatura delle superci accessibili può essere alzata quando
l’apparecchio funziona.
15. È necessario mantenere sempre propria corriera l’apparecchio è in

(*) Elettricista qualicato autorizzato: dipartimento post-vendita del produttore,
importatore o qualsiasi altra persona qualicata, approvata e autorizzata per
condurre questo tipo di riparazione per evitare qualsiasi pericolo. In ogni
caso, si deve inviare l’apparecchio a questo elettricista.
ISTRUZIONI SPECIALI PER LA SICUREZZA
Avvertenza:
• Se l’apparecchio inizia a fumare, premere STOP per fermare
immediatamente la tostatura.
• Evitare di tostare cibi con ingredienti estremamente liquidi, come il burro.
• Tirare il cassetto impala briciola e svuotarlo regolarmente perché le
briciole possono accumularsi e possono inammarsi se non è svuotato
regolarmente.
• Non toccate la supercie calda. Utilizzate i pugni o i bottoni.
• Non fate arrostire di pasticcerie foderate col ghiaccio o altro guarnitura
che potrebbero colare.

PRIMA DEL PRIMO UTILIZZO
1. Rimuovi tutti i materiali di imballaggio e pulisci l’esterno
dell’elettrodomestico con un panno umido.
2. Poiché possono essere rimasti residui di materiale di produzione o
dell’olio di rivestimento nell’elettrodomestico e sull’elemento riscaldante,
il tostapane potrebbe emettere del cattivo odore la prima volta che viene
usato.
3. Prima di utilizzare l’elettrodomestico per la prima volta, ti consigliamo di
eettuare alcuni cicli di tostatura senza pane, alla massima impostazione,
in una stanza ben ventilata.
UTILIZZO
1. Assicurati che il tostapane sia collegato alla presa di corrente.
2. Metti una o due fette di pane nelle scanalature e abbassa la leva di carico
nché non si blocca.
3. Il tostapane si scalderà automaticamente e inizierà a tostare.
4. Regola il controllo dell’abbrustolimento per raggiungere il livello di
tostatura desiderato.
5. Per interrompere la tostatura, premi STOP in qualsiasi momento.
6. Quando la tostatura è terminata, la leva si solleverà automaticamente. A
questo punto si possono togliere i toast dal tostapane.
7. Se il toast non è abbastanza scuro, puoi tostare di nuovo il pane. Regola
il controllo di abbrustolimento al livello inferiore e rimetti il toast nel
tostapane. Assicurati che il toast non si bruci mentre lo tosti di nuovo.
Nota: Per utilizzare le funzione speciali, premi il tasto apposito – RISCALDA,
SCONGELA, CANCELLA - dopo aver abbassato la leva. La spia a LED
corrispondente indicherà l’avvio della funzione.
Controllo dell’abbrustolimento
Il controllo dell’abbrustolimento permette di regolare il tempo di tostatura, che
è regolabile ruotando la manopola in senso orario da 1 a 6:
1-2 tostatura leggera
3-4 tostatura media
5-6 tostatura scura
Importante: Quando selezioni la funzione SCONGELA o RISCALDA, deve
scegliere il livello di abbrustolimento prima di selezionare una di queste due
impostazioni.
Se selezioni l’impostazione sbagliata, premi il tasto CANCELLA e seleziona di
nuovo il ciclo desiderato.
Funzione Riscaldamento
Il tostapane può riscaldare il toast se si è rareddato troppo velocemente.
1. Rimetti il toast nel tostapane.
2. Imposta il controllo dell’abbrustolimento al livello più basso.
3. Abbassa la leva di carico.

4. Premi il tasto RISCALDA, la spia di riscaldamento si accenderà a indicare
che il toast non si sta bruciando.
5. La leva si solleverà automaticamente quando il toast si è riscaldato.
Funzione scongelamento
Il tostapane può scongelare il pane congelato prima di tostarlo, se necessario.
1. Metti il pane nel tostapane.
2. Imposta il controllo dell’abbrustolimento al livello desiderato.
3. Abbassa la leva di carico.
4. Premi il tasto SCONGELA, la spia di scongelamento si accenderà a
indicare che il toast non si sta bruciando.
Funzione Cancella
1. Premi STOP se il pane inizia a emettere del fumo.
2. Il tasto STOP può essere premuto in qualsiasi momento durante la
tostatura.
PULIZIA E CONSERVAZIONE
1. Scollega il tostapane dalla presa di corrente e lascialo rareddare
completamente prima di pulirlo.
2. Pulisci le superci del tostapane solo con un panno morbido e umido.
3. Non lasciare residui di briciole all’interno del tostapane.
4. Rimuovi le briciole togliendo la vaschetta di raccolta, posta alla base del
tostapane e rimuovi qualsiasi residuo con un panno umido.

Il simbolo del cestino barrato riportato sull’apparecchio indica che il prodotto, alla ne della propria
vita utile, dovendo essere trattato separatamente dai riuti domestici, deve essere conferito in un
centro di raccolta dierenziata per apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche oppure riconsegnato
al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura equivalente. L’adeguata
raccolta dierenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchio al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo
smaltimento ambientale compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili eetti negativi sull’ambiente e
sulla salute e favorisce il recupero dei materiali di cui è composto.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that
you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed; we refuse any
responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.
1. Before use, check that the voltage of your wall outlet correspond to the
rated voltage manner.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
3. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface.
4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, never operate this product with wet
hands, spill liquid in the product or submerge it in water
5. Do not touch hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.
6. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near
children or inrm persons.
7. Do not place an appliance on or near a hot gas or on a heated oven.
8. Do not use outdoors (Household use only).
9. To avoid the risk of personal injury, this product should not be operated by
children or people who are not familiar with these instructions.
10. Do not operate the toaster empty
11. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 years and supervised.
12. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
13. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer
or separate remote control system.
14. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance
is operating
15. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it
comes into direct contact with food.
16. Regarding the instruction for cleaning surfaces in contact with food thanks
to refer to the below paragraph “cleaning” in manual.
17. Open crumb tray at bottom of toaster after use to remove breadcrumbs.
18. Bread may burn. Therefore the toasters must not be used near or below
curtains and other combustible materials. They must be watched.
19. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
• sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments
• farm houses
• by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
• bed and breakfast type environments
(*) Competent qualied electrician: after sales department of the producer or

importer or any person who is qualied, approved and competent to perform
this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return
the appliance to this electrician.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning:
• If the appliance starts to smoke, Press STOP to stop toasting immediately.
• Avoid toasting the food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
• Pull and empty the crumb tray frequently. Crumbs will accumulate in the
crumb tray and could catch re if not emptied periodically.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use Handles or knobs.
• Do not toast pastries with runny llings or frosting
• Do not toast torn slices of bread

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all packaging materials and wipe the outside of the appliance
with a damp cloth.
2. As there is manufacturing residue or oil coating in the appliance and on
the heat element, the toaster may emit an odour when rst used.
3. Before using the appliance for the rst time, we advise you to let the
appliance complete a few toasting cycles without slices of bread on the
highest browning setting in a properly ventilated room.
USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Ensure the toaster is connected to mains supply
2. Place one or two slices of bread into the toasting slots and press down the
loading handle until it latches.
3. The toaster will heat up automatically and start toasting.
4. Adjust the browning control to achieve the amount of toasting desired.
5. To stop toasting press the STOP button at any time.
6. When toasting is nished the loading handle will rise automatically. The
toast can then be safely removed.
7. If the toast is not dark enough, you may wish to toast the bread again.
Adjust the browning control to a lower setting and replace the toast.
Ensure the toast does not burn while re-toasting.

Note: To use the special functions press the relevant button-REHEAT,
DEFROST, CANCEL-after lowering the lever. The corresponding LED signals
its activation.
Browning Control
The browning control enables adjustment of toasting time, this is adjustable
from 1 to 6 turning clockwise:
1-2 for light toasting
3-4 for medium toasting
5-6 for dark toasting
Important: When selecting DEFROST or REHEAT function, you must press
the toast control level before selecting one of these settings.
If the wrong button is selected, press the CANCEL button and re-select the
desired cycle.
Reheat Function
Your toaster can re-heat toast if it has cooled too quickly.
1. Replace the toast in the toaster.
2. Set the browning control to a low setting.
3. Press the loading handle down.
4. Press the REHEAT button, the reheat indicator will light up ensure toast
doesn’t burn.
5. The loading handle will rise automatically when toast is reheated.
Defrost Function
Your toaster can defrost frozen bread before toasting if required.
1. Place the bread into the toaster.
2. Set the browning control to required setting.
3. Press the loading handle down
4. Press the DEFROST button, the defrost indicator will light up ensure toast
does not burn.
Cancel Function
1. Press the STOP button if bread starts to smoke.
2. The STOP button can be pressed at any time during toasting.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
1. Switch mains supply and allow toaster to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Only clean the surfaces of the toaster with a soft damp cloth.
3. Do not allow crumbs to build up inside the toaster.
4. Crumbs can be removed by pulling out the crumb tray, located at the end
of the toaster, and clearing any build up with damp cloth.
