makingsurethatitisflatwiththeplatformandnottilted.Themagazine
willslidefreelyuntilthefigure"24"isjustinsidetheaperture.With
gentlepressure,pushthemagazinesothatitclicksintopositionwith
thefigure"25"justinsidetheaperture.Inthisposition,whenthe
projectorisswitchedon,figure"1"isilluminatedandwillbevisible
throughtheinspectionwindow(3).
Pushingtheautochangeleverinbringstheslideintotheprojection
position.Pullingtheleveroutreturnstheslidetothemagazine,
advancesthemagazinetothenextposition,andbringsa cappingblade
intopositiontopreventanylightfromfallingonthescreen.After
youhaveshownalltheslides,removethemagazinefromthefrontof
theprojector.
TheSportsviewProjectorhasbeendesignedsothat,whenthe
autochangeleverispulledoutasfarasitwillgo,themagazinemaybe
movedtoanypositionbyhand.Byobservingthenumbersthrough
theinspectionwindowwhileadjustingthemagazine,itispossible
toshowanyslideatwill.
Alwaysoperatetheautochangeleversmoothlyandevenly.Violent
orjerkymovementswillpreventtheslidesfromchangingproperly
andcausejamming.

Setthefine-focuscontrolwheel(4)toa centralposition,sothatitis
possibleto makeadjustmentin eitherdirection.
Now,withthefirstslideintheprojectionposition,rotatethelens(5)
untiltheimageissharplyfocusedonthescreen.
Duringa performance,itmaybefoundthatslidesofdiffering
thicknesswillneedrefocusingslightly.Thefine-focuscontrolenables
thistobecarriedoutquicklyandeasily.
Alwayspositionthelensbyscrewingitinandout.Neverpushor
pullitintoposition.
