OPERATION OF THE SYSTEM
Once correctly installed your iCO®Water Mist System is largely automated.
In the event of a fire, each nozzle will activate independently when the heat sensitive bulb shatters due to the
specified temperature being exceeded. In most cases just one nozzle will activate (the nozzle closest to the fire).
The system will then run for either 10 minutes (single pump) or 30 minutes (twin pump) before turning o.
Below are some basic DOs and DO NOTs to ensure your system operates as designed.
DO
• Do keep the system isolation valve open and the power to the pump switched on.
• Do consult a certified iCO®installer before you make any alterations to the layout of your home. If you do not, you
may render the system non-compliant and put yourself at risk.
• Do have your system maintained annually by a certified iCO®installer and keep a record in the maintainance log.
• Do report any accidental or malicious damage to the pump, piping or nozzles to your certified iCO®installer.
