ACTIVE COPPER MAXXTM CARTRIDGE*
Active Copper Maxx™ is a unique combination of preserving the naturally occurring vital minerals like
Calcium, Magnesium, Copper and Zinc with antimicrobial Activated Carbon Granules. This slow-release
technology enhances the taste of the water, by removing residual dissolved harmful gases like VOCs,
and increases the level of minerals like Calcium, Magnesium, Copper and Zinc in water, at the same
time balancing the pH of water, making it healthy.

**BIOTRON™ TECHNOLOGY
The Biotron is a patented (applied) Multiple Magnetic Field (MMF) generating device. It creates a

STEEL GIVES YOU MORE
Make sure that your Aquaguard®Select EDGE with Stainless Steel is installed by a trained
Eureka Forbes Service Technician only.
1. Input water must be tested for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
2. Install your water purifier in a suitably ventilated place. Keep it away from direct sunlight,
heating devices or areas below freezing temperature. You can keep it on the kitchen counter or wall
mount it.
3. Ensure that the input water temperature is in the range of 10°C – 40°C. Do not connect to a hot water
tap as it can damage the filters.
4. Make sue that the tap water pressure is between 0.3 kg/cm2 to 2.0 kg/cm2for Aquaguard Select Edge
SS UV and not exceeding 3.0 kg/cm2foe Aquaguard Select Edge SS RO+UV+MTDS.
5. After installing, run the purifier for 5-10 mins.
6. Make sure that the rejected water pipe (blue coloured pipe available in Aquaguard®Select
EDGE HD RO+UV+MTDS model only) is placed lower than the purifier, to avoid stagnation of
high TDS reject water in the pipe.
7. MTDS Regulator Operating Procedure: TDS Modulator is located inside the product. As per factory
setting, it comes in completely closed mode. The TDS level of output water can be increased by slowly
loosening (turning anti-clockwise) the spindle of the TDS modulator. Normally, a slight quarter turn is
enough to increase the TDS of output water. Rotating the spindle in clockwise direction closes the
TDS modulator, and reduces the level of TDS blending. Please note that TDS blending and its
adjustment is dependent upon the level of TDS of input water and on the TDS reduction capacity of
the RO Membrane. TDS adjustment should be done by a company authorised personnel only.

Input Water Quality Usage Limitations:
1. If the input water iron content is more than 0.3 mg/litre; use of an iron remover** is
recommended as a pre-treatment.
2. If the input water turbidity is more than 5 NTU or comprises colloidal particles, use of a
special filter** is required as a pre-filter.
3. If the input water TDS is more than 1,000 ppm (mg/L) or input water hardness is more than
300 ppm (mg/L), use of a Membrane life enhancer** is recommended.
4. Do not install the water purifier if the TDS is more than that prescribed in the Technical
Specifications.

TIPS FOR SAFTY AND MAINTENANCE OF YOUR
AQUAGUARD®SELECT EDGE WITH STAINLESS STEEL
1. Read attentively and understand the purifier and its functions before use.
2. Installation and service has to be conducted by authorised persons from Eureka Forbes Limited only.
3. Install the purifier at a location with ample ventilation.
4. Ensure that the purifier is installed in a dry place. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or heat sources.
5. Ensure that the installation height is ideal for comfortable reach for the user to avoid any accidental
water spill (Approx. 5 feet).
6. Do not remove or insert the plug with wet hands.
7. Replace the filters when the end of life indicator is displayed by your purifier.
8. Ensure that the filter cartridges and spares used during service/replacement are genuine and from
Eureka Forbes only.
9. Always switch off and disconnect the power plug before maintenance or cleaning.
10. In case of any damage or incorrect functioning, immediately contact an authorised service centre of
Eureka Forbes Limited. Do not repair on your own.
