1. Introduction
1.1. General information
HTC 420 VS is a grinder that can be used to grind, strip, clean and
polish concrete, natural stone and terrazzo floors. The machine's
area of application depends on the choice of tool.
Read the manual carefully so that you are totally familiar with
the machine before you start using it. Contact your local retailer

In addition to the general functions, this manual deals with the
areas of application and the maintenance of the grinder.
1.3.1. Safety instructions – Explanation of symbols
A number of symbols are used in the manual to highlight the most
important sections, see below. In order to avoid both personal
injury and material damage as far as possible, it is extremely
important to read and understand the text next to these symbols
particularly carefully. There are other symbols indicating practical
tips. These are to help you use the machine in the easiest and most
effective way.
The following symbols are used in the document to indicate where
special attention is needed.
