• This manual and the appliance itself provide important safety warnings,
to be read and observed at all times
• Allsafetywarningsgivespecicdetailsofthepotentialriskpresented
andindicatehowtoreduceriskofinjury,damageandelectricshock
resulting from improper use of the appliance. Carefully observe the
following instructions.
• Failuretoobservetheseinstructionsmayleadtorisks.TheManufacturer
declines any liability for injury to persons or animals or damage to
property if these advices and precautions are not respected.
• This product should not be used by children under 8 years old, unless
supervised by an adult.
• Children from 8 years old and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
can use this appliance only if they are supervised. Alternatively these
people can use if have been given instructions on safe appliance use
and if they understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by childern without supervision.
• The metal blades and disc are extremly sharp, care shall be taken
when handling, emptying the bowl and during cleaning of the appliance.
Always hold the blade attachment away from the cutting edges, both
when handling and cleaning the unit.
• Avoid contact with any moving parts.
INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT
• This appliance is designed solely for domestic use. This product is not
intended for commercial use. The manufacturer declines all responsibility

for innapropiate use or incorrect setting of the controls.
• CAUTION : The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of
anexternaltimerorseparateremotecontrolsystem.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Donotstoreexplosiveorammablesubstancessuchasaerosolcans
and do not place or use gasoline or other ammable materials in or
neartheappliance:aremaybreakoutiftheapplianceisinadvertently
switched on.
INSTALLATION
• Repairs must be carried out by a qualied technician, in compliance
with the manufacturer’s instructions and local safety regulations. Do not
repairorreplaceanypartoftheapplianceunlessspecicallystatedin
the user manual.
• Children should not perform installation operations. Keep children
awayduringinstallationoftheappliance.Keepthepackagingmaterials
(plastic bags, polystyrene parts, etc.) out of reach of children, during
and after the installation of the appliance.
• Afterunpackingtheappliance,makesurethatithasnotbeendamaged
during transport. In the event of problems, contact the dealer or your
nearest After-sales Service.
• Keep children away during installation of the appliance.
• The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply before
carrying out any installation operation.
• During installation, make sure the appliance does not damage the
power cable.
• Only activate the appliance when the installation procedure has been
completed.
ELECTRICAL WARNINGS
• Makesurethevoltagespeciedontheratingplatecorrespondstothat
of your home.
• Regulations require that the appliance is connected to an earthed
supply outlet.

• Forapplianceswithttedplug,iftheplugisnotsuitableforyousocket
outlet,contactaqualiedtechnician.
• Do not use extension leads, multiple sockets or adapters. Do not
connectthe appliance toasocket whichcanbe operatedbyremote
control.
• The power cable must be long enough for connecting the appliance,
oncettedinitshousing,tothemainpowersupply.
• Do not pull the power supply cable.
• If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced with an identical
one.Thepowercablemustonlybereplacedbyaqualiedtechnician
in compliance with the manufacturer instructions and current safety
regulations. Contact an authorized service center.
• Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged mains cord or plug, if
itisnotworkingproperly,orifithasbeendamagedordropped.Donot
immerse the mains cord or plug in water. Keep the cord away from hot
surfaces.
• Do not touch the appliance with any wet part of the body and do not
operate it when barefoot.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Fuse replacement
IfthemainsleadofthisapplianceisttedwithaBS1363A13ampfused
plug, to change a fuse in this type of plug use an A .S .T .A . approved fuse
to BS 1362 type and proceed as follows:
1.Remove the fuse cover (A) and fuse (B)
2.Fit replacement 13A fuse into fuse cover
3.Retbothintoplug
Important:
Thefusecover mustberettedwhen changing
a fuse and if the fuse cover is lost, the plug must
notbeuseduntilacorrectreplacementistted.
Correctreplacementsareidentiedbythecolour
insert or the colour embossed in words on the
base of the plug. Replacement fuse covers are
available from your local electrical store.

Socket outlet / plug
If the tted plug is not suitable for your socket outlet, contact After-
Sales Service for further instruction. Do not attempt to change the plug
yourself.Thisprocedureneedstobecarriedoutbyaqualiedtechnician
in compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions and current standard
safety regulations.
CORRECT USE
• Makesurethatall parts andlidsaresecurelylocked inpalcebefore
operating the appliance.
• Thefastenersmustbelockedinthetwoclippositions,otherwiseduring
operating the bowl lid may rotate as the motor rotates.
• Donotattempttotamperwiththelidinterlockmechanism.
• Before disassembling the appliance, switch off the unit and wait until
the blades have come to a complete stop.
• Always remove the balde assembly before pouring any contents from
the bowl.
• Never insert food by hand. Always use the food pusher.
• Donotputyourngersorotherobjectsintotheunitopeningwhileitisin
operation.Ifanyfoodgetstuckintheopening,usethefoodpusheror
another piece of fruit / vegetable to push it down. When this method is
not possible, turn the appliance off and disassemble the unit to remove
the remaining food.
• Never introduce very hard foods (e.g. Hard chocolate), ice or frozen
foodswhenusingthenechoppingattachments.
• Keep your hands and utensils out of the container while bleding to
reducetheriskofsevereinjurytopersonsordamagetheblender.A
scraper may be used when the appliance is not operating.
• Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it
canbeejectedoutoftheapplianceduetoasuddensteaming.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply before
carrying out any cleaning or maintenance.
• Never use steam cleaning equipment.
