Possible causes:
●Withfence:Markedgrowthatfence,poorinsulators,short-circuitatmetalposts,orfencetoolong
●Withoutfence:Deviceisdefective,seeService
Power economiser:
Attedpowereconomisermatchespowerconsumptiontothestateofthefence.Thismeanslesscurrentcon-
sumptionwithwellinsulatedfencesandagreatercurrentconsumptionwithpoorlyinsulatedfences(leakages
duetoplantgrowth,etc.).
Argutector display:
The6LEDs(LEDs4to9)indicatefenceinsulationbywayoftheArgutectordisplayin6steps.Thedisplay
buildsupfromtheright.Ifall6LEDslightup,thefenceinsulationisgoodandlittleenergyisrequiredtomain-
tainherdingsecurity.ThefewerthenumberoflitupLEDs,thepoorerthefenceinsulationisduetoleakages
(plantgrowth,branchesfallenontothefencesystem,short-circuit,poorearthing).Increasedenergyisrequired
tokeepthefenceherding-secure.
Variousmodescanbesetwithpressbutton 1.Thecurrentlysetmodeisdisplayedbypressingthebutton
briey.Allmodescanthenbeselectedonebyonewitheachadditionalbuttonpressing.Themodeselected
lastremainssetafterexitingthemenu.TheenergizeragainshowsthefencevoltageandArgutectorvalues
