Thank you for choosing Homido® Prime virtual reality headset. At Homido we take pride
in designing our products to the highest standard of quality, comfort, and functionality so
that you enjoy using them.
Please read the manual carefully before using the headset and keep it for future reference.

Compatibility
To be VR-compatible, your smartphone must have the following minimum requirements:
• Gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass
• HD screen with a size between 4.7’’ and 6.2’’
• 2 GB of RAM

First steps
1. Download VR Center by Homido®
• Search for “VR Center by Homido” on the App Store or Google Play.
• Install the application.
2. Choose your content
360° VIDEOS:
• Touch the icon to start playback on a video card (represented by the symbol).
APPLICATIONS / GAMES / EXPERIENCES:
• Press the icon on an app card (represented by the symbol).
• You will be redirected to the corresponding App Store or Google Play page. Download
your application and return to the VR Center by pressing “Back”.
• Once the application is installed, the “Download” icon will be replaced by a play button.
Press it to start the experience.
3. Insert your smartphone
See image on page 3.
• Hold the smartphone compartment open and adjust the sliders according to the width
of your smartphone.
• Place the smartphone on the sliders in a horizontal position.
• Make sure to align the center of the screen with the level of the septum.
• Gently close the smartphone compartment door and fix the silicon fastener to the hook.
4. Adjust your headset
• Place the headset against your face.
• Adjust the headstrap by sliding the buckles forward to tighten and back to loosen the strap.
• You can add the front strap (optional) for extra comfort. See point 6 below for instructions.
• Adjust the distance between the lenses with the dial at the bottom left.
5. Get more visual comfort
For additional comfort, you can adjust the view by scanning one of the following three QR
codes through the “Cardboard” application:

• Download the “Cardboard” application from the store and open it.
• When you use this application for the first time, you can scan one of the QR codes, the
one best suited to your inter-pupillary distance.
To change the setting, click on the symbol.

6. Attach the additional strap (optional)
See image on page 5.
• Prepare the strap as shown in drawing 1.
• Insert the horizontal strap into the bottom hook (drawing 2).
• Push the horizontal strap down (drawing 3).
• Fold the strap in behind the top hook (drawing 4).
7. Use the virtual reality headset in augmented reality mode

The Homido Prime has a transparent front; in most cases it can be kept for augmented
reality applications however it is possible to detach it completely.
• Hold the lower part against the body of the headset.
• Pull the upper part slowly forward to unclip it.
VR Center by Homido®
You will find the latest trendy 360° videos in a simple and user-friendly interface as
well as the best VR experiences selected each day by our teams and users.
• Live Feed
A news feed featuring the latest content for your virtual reality headset; this content can
be a VR game, an experience, a 360° video, or a post.
• Top 20 and User Vote
Updated every week according to your votes, a ranking of applications and videos will be
presented as a Top 20 illustrated with icons indicating whether the content is up, down, or
stable compared to last week.
• Apps and Videos Categories
All the experiences offered in the VR Center are filed by category.
• My Apps (Android™)
Indicated by the small icons at the top right of the application, the “My Apps” section
allows you to find and launch all the VR Center apps already installed on your smartphone.
It’s a simple and effective way to keep all its contents in the same place. This function is
available for Android smartphones only.
• Bookmarks
Located in the side menu, it helps to find all the experiences in the Live Feed as well
as in the categories. Each application or a video card gives you the possibility to mark
the content to find it later in this section, at any time.
By dragging an application card to the left, you can access this card or delete it from the
Bookmarks page.
• Dynamic Search
You can start a dynamic search at any time by typing in the first three characters of the
content you are looking for. The results will be displayed instantly in the form of cards,
giving you access to the experiences.
• Facebook Connect
To ensure that votes are counted and that no votes are doubled, the VR Center uses
Facebook’s unique authentication. Only the email address is required for the sole purpose
of identifying the user, no other information from your Facebook account is used.
• Sharing Through the VR Center by Homido®
You can use this function to flag an application or a 360° video to be added in the VR Center.
It is very simple to use: press the share button and share through the VR Center. After
testing or viewing, we may add the proposed content.
• Expert Mode
A space reserved for those who are familiar with more complex applications, technical
articles and exclusive tutorials.
VR Stream by Homido®
VR Stream is an all-immersive version of the VR Center by Homido app that offers every
360° video from our catalog in a simplified interface, and allows to switch from one video
to another without removing your smartphone from the headset.
VR Stream is an additional application that can be used by itself or along with the VR
Center on your Android™ smartphone. If both apps are installed, the VR Center videos will
open in VR Stream.
On an iPhone®, VR Stream is completely independent from the VR Center. This is a version
dedicated to 360° videos with the same features as the Android version, namely:
• Immersive Navigation
The content of the entire catalog is accessible in virtual reality.
• Playback Control
The video player has a control bar that allows you to go forward, rewind, or choose the
exact moment on the playback slider.
