3 - CLEANING
THE FRONT

THE GLASS PANE
Fireplace window cleaning liquids are effec ive
produc s.
Never ry o clean he glass while he fireplace is
working. We recommend using HERGOM
window cleaning produc s.
Replacing: he glass pane in your fireplace is
made of hermal ma erial, especially
manufac ured for log and/or coal fireplaces. If i
should break due o an acciden , i mus be
replaced by ano her glass pane wi h he same
echnical specifica ions. Con ac our Dis ribu or

oge her wi h ins ruc ions on how o assemble
and seal i .

4 - SAFETY
WARNING!
Gas/log/pellet units get hot when in use.
Consequently, owners must act with
precaution an keep at a istance. Especially
keep chil ren, the el erly an other people
who require special supervision, as well as
pets, away from the appliance when it is in
use.
Make sure that chil ren or other people who
are not familiar with how the appliance works
are supervise by responsible people when
they are near the fireplace.
In or er to prevent burns or chil ren or other
people from coming near the appliance, use a
fire grille or screen.
A number of possible risks may arise when
opera ing your solid fuel fireplace wi h fuel of
any brand. The said risks can be minimised if
he ins ruc ions and recommenda ions included
in his manual are followed.
•Keep any flammable ma erial (furni ure,
cur ains, clo hes...) away from he
fireplace, a a safe dis ance of a leas
0,90m. (Fig. 6)
•Ash should be emp ied in o a me al
con ainer and immedia ely removed from
he house.
•Do no use flammable liquids o ligh he
fireplace. Keep any ype of flammable
liquid (pe rol, gasoline, alcohol,....) a a
dis ance from he fireplace.
•Periodically inspec he chimney and clean
i whenever necessary. Also inspec he
s a e of seals, glass, screws...
•Do no ins all near walls ha are
combus ible or ha fea ure any ype of
lining ha may be damaged or deformed
by high empera ures (varnish, pain ...).
Precau ions should also be aken o
preven placing he ho air grilles on
combus ible i ems.
