1. Sicherheitshinweise
Vor der Benutzung des Nachfüllsets sind ein paar
grundsätzliche Dinge zu beachten. Qualitätstinten
haften auf allen saugfähigen Textilien und können
hier schnell unfeine Flecken verursachen. Um
bereits im Vorfeld Schäden durch Tinte vorzubeugen
sollten Sie folgende Hinweise beachten:
- Das Nachfüllset ist nur in Verbindung mit funktions
tüchtigen, leeren Original-Patronen erfolgreich
anwendbar. Bei beschädigten oder stark
eingetrockneten Patronen kann die vollständige
Funktionstüchtigkeit nach dem Wiederbefüllen
nicht mehr gewährleistet werden.
- Drucken Sie Ihre Patrone vor dem Wiederbefüllen
nicht vollständig leer. Schon wenn das Druckbild
schwächer wird oder weiße Streifen im Text zu
erkennen sind sollten Sie mit dem Nachfüllen
beginnen. So vermeiden Sie ein Eintrocknen der
Resttinte in der Patrone und verlängern
gleichzeitig die Lebensdauer dieser.
- Verwenden Sie das Nachfüllset nur an einem
sicheren Ort, um evtl. Flecken zu vermeiden. Um
ganz sicher zu gehen, sollten Sie am Besten alte
Kleidungsstücke anziehen, falls einmal etwas Tinte
verspritzen sollte. Legen Sie eine alte Zeitung auf
Ihre Arbeitsunterlage, auf der Sie das Nachfüllset
anwenden.
- Halten Sie das Set von Kindern fern und
verwenden Sie vor und während der Benutzung
des Sets die beiliegenden Handschuhe.
Hama GmbH & Co. übernimmt für durch Tinte
verschmutzte Kleidungsstücke, Möbel oder
andere Gegenstände grundsätzlich keine Haftung!
Sollte trotz allem frische Tinte auf Ihre Textilien
gelangt sein waschen Sie die Farbe sofort unter
lauwarmem Wasser mit einer Bürste und Seife
heraus!
2. Wiederbefüllen der Patrone
Vorbereitung: Ziehen Sie die beiliegenden
Handschuhe an und öffnen Sie vorsichtig eine
Flasche mit Tinte. Wenn Sie die Verschlusskappe
abgedreht haben setzen Sie die Kanüle inkl.
Sicherheitskappe fest auf die Spitze der Flasche.
1. Schritt: Entnehmen Sie die funktionstüchtige, fast
leere Original-Patrone aus Ihrem Drucker setzen Sie
sie in die Nachfüllstation ein.
2. Schritt: Mit dem gelben Kugeleindrücker pressen
Sie die Verschlusskugel der Patrone ein (s. Bild).
Wenn die Kugel in die leere Patrone fällt ist dies
durch ein Geräusch wahrzunehmen! Die Kugel
befindet sich unter einem kleinen Etikett an der
Unterseite, das Sie bei Bedarf evtl. entfernen
müssen für ein leichteres eindrücken der Kugel.
3. Schritt: Nehmen Sie die Nachfüllflasche und ent-
fernen Sie die Sicherheitskappe von der Kanüle.
Führen Sie diese sodann ganz in die
Nachfüllöffnung ein (s. Bild).
Drücken Sie sehr vorsichtig die Flasche zusammen.
Befüllen Sie die Patrone mit maximal 25 ml
(Entspricht ca. 5 Teilstrichen auf der Flasche.)!
Bitte halten Sie sich an die Füllmenge, da sonst die
Tinte aus der Patrone in den Drucker laufen kann!
3. Verschließen der Nachfüllöffnung
Nehmen Sie den beiliegenden Stopfen zum
Verschließen der Patrone zur Hand. Setzen Sie ihn
dort an, wo Sie zuvor die Original-Kugel entfernt
haben und drücken Sie den Stopfen soweit als mög-
lich ein (s. Bild). Sie können den gelben
Kugeleindrücker hierzu zur Hilfe nehmen, wenn
nötig. Kleben Sie im Anschluss das beigefügte
Etikett über die Nachfüllöffnung.
4. Einsetzen der befüllten Patrone in den Drucker
Bitte lassen Sie die Patrone nach dem Befüllen für
ca. 5 Minuten auf dem beliegenden Tuch stehen. Sie
müssen die Nachfüllöffnung sorgfältig verschließen,
da sonst die Patrone ausläuft und die
Funktionstüchtigkeit nicht mehr gegeben ist! Bitte
überzeugen Sie sich, dass keine Tinte an der
Patrone haftet. Machen Sie den Düsentest (Einfach
die Düsen vorsichtig gegen das beiliegende Tuch
drücken.)! Wenn Sie die Patrone ordnungsgemäß
befüllt haben, und keine eingetrocknete Tinte darin
war, sehen Sie hier Farbe auf dem Tuch.
Dann setzen Sie die Patrone wieder in den Drucker
ein. Bitte beachten Sie, dass nachgefüllte Patronen
kurz nach der Wiederbefüllung sofort in den
Drucker eingesetzt werden müssen und nicht
anderweitig gelagert werden können!
Führen Sie nach dem Einsetzen der Patrone vor
dem ersten Ausdruck eine Düsenreinigung durch!
Wie hierfür vorzugehen ist entnehmen Sie bitte
dem Benutzerhandbuch des Druckerherstellers!
Verfügbare Nachfüll-Sets von Hama:
Der Druckkopf der Original-Patrone ist nor-
mal ohne Qualitätsverlust zur Nachbe-
füllung geeignet. Wir empfehlen jedoch
nach Aufbrauch des Nachfüll-Sets eine
neue Original-Patrone zu kaufen, die dann
wiederum nachgefüllt werden kann.

Please read the following instructions
carefully and observe the safety instructions.
1. Safety instructions
Before you use the refill kit, there are a few basic
points to bear in mind. Quality inks will adhere to all
absorbent textiles and can quickly cause unsightly
stains. To prevent ink damage in advance, please
adhere to the following instructions:
- The refill kit can only be used successfully with the
empty original cartridge if it is still in working
order.
If the cartridge is damaged or contains dried
residue, we cannot guarantee that it will function
correctly after it has been refilled.
- Do not wait until your cartridge is completely
empty before you refill it. You should refill the
cartridge as soon as the print starts to become
fainter or white stripes appear in the text. This will
prevent the ink drying in the cartridge and will
thus extend its service life.
- Only use the refill kit in a safe place to prevent
staining. To be completely sure you should wear
old clothes so that if any ink sprays nothing of
value will be damaged. Lay out an old newspaper
on the worktop on which you intend to use the
refill kit.
- Keep the kit out of the reach of children and wear
the gloves supplied before and whilst you use the
kit.
Hama GmbH & Co. cannot accept any liability for
clothing, furniture or other items that may be soiled
with ink.
If, despite all your precautions, fresh ink gets on to
your textiles, wash it out immediately in lukewarm
water using a brush and soap.
2. To refill the cartridge
Preparation: Put on the supplied gloves and
carefully open a bottle of ink. When you have
unscrewed the cap, affix the needle and safety cap
securely to the top of the bottle.
Step 1: Take the functional, almost empty original
cartridge out of your printer and insert it into the
refilling station.
Step 2: Using the yellow ball pusher, press in the
sealing ball into the cartridge (see illustration).
When the ball falls into the cartridge you will hear it
drop. The ball is located under a small label on the
underside that you may have to remove to make it
easier for you to push in the ball.
Step 3: Now take the refill bottle and remove the
safety cap from the needle. Now insert the needle
completely into the refill opening (see illustration).
Squeeze the bottle very carefully. Fill the cartridge
with a maximum of 25 ml (which corresponds to
approx. 5 lines on the bottle) by squeezing the bottle
very carefully.Do not exceed this volume since
otherwise the ink may leak out of the cartridge and
into the printer.
3. Sealing the refill opening
Take the supplied stopper to seal the cartridge.
Insert it where you previously removed the original
ball and press the stopper into this
opening (see illustration) as far as possible. You can
use the yellow pusher to press the stopper in. Then
affix the supplied label over the refill opening.
4. Inserting the refilled cartridge back into the printer
Leave the cartridge to stand for approx. five minutes
on the cloth provided. You must seal the refill
opening carefully since otherwise the cartridge will
leak and will no longer function correctly. Please
make sure that there is no ink on the outside of the
cartridge. Complete the jet test (simple press the
jets carefully against the cloth supplied). If you have
refilled the cartridge properly and there was no
dried ink in it, you will now see ink on the cloth.
Then fit the cartridge back into the printer. Please
note that refilled cartridge must be fitted into the
printer shortly after being refilled and must not be
stored elsewhere.
After inserting the cartridge clean the jets before
starting to print. Refer to the user’s manual supplied
by the printer’s manufacturer for details of how to
do this.
Normally the print head of the original
cartridge is suitable for refilling without
any quality losses. However after
exhausting a refill-set we recommend
to buy a new cartridge which can be
refilled again.
