The BoilerMate A-Class is an indirectly heated
hot water only thermal store and is supplied
withthefactoryfittedcontrolsandequipment
shown in Section 1.2 Technical Data. The
indirect heatexchangeris highly efficient and
designedtoprovideextremelyquickhotwater
recovery as well as back-up space heating
when using‘Switch’.
Because the F & E cistern is only used to fill
the thermal store the standard appliance
is supplied as a manual fill model, i,e,
without a ballvalve and overflow, which
makes it particularly suitable for use in
flats/apartments. Aballvalveand overflow

Because this product does not require a safety
discharge from a temperature and pressure
relief valve, any installations will be easy to

cylinders.
An important feature of this concept is that
hot water can be supplied directly from the
mains at conventional flow rates without the
needfortemperatureandpressurereliefsafety
valves or expansion vessels. This is achieved
by passing the mains water through a plate
heatexchanger.Theoutlettemperatureofthe
