DANGER
Electric Voltage!
Danger to life and fire hazard from electrical voltage
Inside the device are unprotected live component parts. Observe the VDE
regulations. Disconnect all cables to be installed and take safety precau-
tions against unintentional switching on. Do not operate the device if dam-
aged or not functioning properly. Decommission the device or system and
secure it against accidental operation, if any operation without risk may sup-
posedly not be guaranteed.
CAUTION
Device damage from external influences!
Moisture and dirt on the equipment can lead to its destruction.
Protect devices from moisture, dirt and damage during transport, storage
and operation.
Warranty The device is intended solely for proper use. Any inappropriate change or non
compliance with the operating instructions invalidates any warranty or guaran-
tee. After unpacking, check the device immediately for any mechanical dam-
age. In case of damage caused during transportation please immediately in-
form the supplier. The device must only be operated as a fixed installation, i.e.
only when installed and after all of the installation and commissioning work
has been completed, and exclusively in the environment it is intended for. Ekon

2 General Information about myGEKKO & EnOcean
Purpose The myGEKKO EnOcean USB300 makes it very easy to integrate EnOcean com-
patible devices into the myGEKKO system. Sensors such as pushbuttons or
temperature sensors can be integrated, as well as actuators including dim-
mers or blind actuators, and can for example also be connected to other sys-
tems.
USP In buildings that would otherwise require a great deal of installation work to
implement solutions, all sensors can be implemented wirelessly. The EnOcean
wireless standard is a battery-free technology. You can integrate sensors such
as pushbuttons or temperature sensors and include actuators such as dim-
mers.
Implementation in
5 Steps
1. Install actuators
2. Install sensors
3. Connect and configure the EnOcean devices in the respective system
4. Configure the corresponding functions/actions
5. Connect repeaters if necessary
2.1 The Setup
The myGEKKO building controller is paired with EnOcean using an EnOcean
USB300 stick. The EnOcean USB300 can be connected either directly to a USB
interface on a myGEKKO building controller or a myGEKKO NODE. With one
myGEKKO building controller, up to 128 actuators and 128 sensors, a total of
up to 256 devices, can be coupled.

3 myGEKKO EnOcean products
3.1
The USB EnOcean interface is used
to exchange information between the
myGEKKO building controllers and the
batteryless EnOcean wireless devices.
This interface is connected via the USB
port and is ready to include devices in the
myGEKKO ecosystem.
