PELLET GRILL AT LEAST 18”AWAY FROM ANY COMBUSTIBLE SURFACE.
USE ONLY FIRECRAFT® OR OTHER APPROVED FOOD GRADE SMOKE
PELLETS. NOT STOVE OR HEATING PELLETS.
SURFACES AND GRILL ARE HOT! ALWAYS USE GLOVES & PROPER
GRILLING TOOLS WHEN ADJUSTING RACKS OR FOODS.
UNPLUG AND ALLOW GRILL TO COMPLETELY COOL BEFORE CLEANING,
STORAGE OR REPAIR.

About Your Grill
BBQ made easy! Pellet grills, also called pellet
smokers, are a great for those seeking the
convenience of gas grills but love wood-
smoked BBQ avor. Your Pellet-Q is fueled
with all-natural hardwood pellets, available in
avors such as Hickory, Apple, and Mesquite.
Simply load up the grill with pellets, set your
desired cooking temperature between 180℉
- 500℉using the AccuTemp™ electronic con-
trol, and the grill automatically maintains
your set temperature while you concentrate
on food, friends, and family. Not only is your
grill a fantastic smoker, these versatile cook-
ers also sear, roast, and bake at the touch of
a button. There is no need for a rotisserie
because your Pellet-Q uses a small fan to
generate convection currents inside the
cooking chamber. Serve perfectly cooked
and juicy food every time!
Pellet grills are one of the easiest types of
smoker to use. These cookers feed wood
pellets onto a small burner via an auger.
The heat cooks the food while the smoke
from the pellets gives the food that fantastic
BBQ avor. In short, ll the grill with pellets,
set the AccuTemp™ control, and walk away!
Your Pellet-Q450™ is made with corrosion-
resistant stainless steel and features an easy-
to-clean grease drip bucket. Easily change
pellet avors with the Pellet Exchange™.
Cooking Temperatures
We recommend slow cooking from 225℉-
275℉, roasting and baking from 300℉- 400℉,
and searing from 450℉- 500℉.

Pellet Flavor Recommendations:
Apple Wood:
A lighter wood with fruity avor.
Uses: Pork, Meat or poultry.
Hickory Wood:
A full smoky avor, the classic smoking wood.
Uses: Everything, especially meats.
Mesquite Wood:
The strongest smoke avor, very popular
in Texas. Uses: Red meat.
Maple Wood:
Maybe the sweetest smoke avor.
Uses: Poultry or pork.
Cherry Wood & Other Fruit Woods:
Distinct mild-sweet avor.
Uses: Pork, meat or poultry.
