3 Sicherheitshinweise
Dieses Produkt darf nur von ausgebildetem medizinischen Per-
sonal, das anhand des Verwendungshinweises in dessen Ge-
brauch eingewiesen wurde, verwendet werden.
Überprüfen Sie das Produkt vor jeder Anwendung auf Schäden!
Falls schadhaft, dieses Produkt nicht verwenden!
Verbrennungsgefahr! Werden Kabel mit nicht isolierten Steckern
an den Adapter angeschlossen, führen diese während der Akti-
vierung des HF-Chirurgiegerätes Strom. Berühren Sie deshalb
während der HF-Aktivierung weder den Adapter noch die nicht
isolierten Teile des Kabels.
Nicht in Gegenwart von brennbaren oder explosiblen Stoffen
verwenden!

Schützen Sie das Produkt vor jeglicher mechanischen Beschädi-
gung! Nicht werfen! Keinerlei Gewalt anwenden!
Erbe Elektromedizin warnt ausdrücklich davor, das Produkt zu
verändern. Jede Veränderung führt zum Ausschluss der Haftung
durch Erbe Elektromedizin.
4 Anwendungshinweise
Produkt vor der ersten Anwendung und vor jeder Wiederanwen-
dung reinigen und desinfizieren.
Das Produkt muss ganz in die entsprechende Buchse eingesteckt
werden. Es muss ein deutlicher Anschlag spürbar sein. Ziehen
Sie das Produkt gerade aus der Buchse heraus. Querkräfte kön-
nen sonst die Buchse beschädigen.
Das Instrument so weit wie möglich in den Adapter einführen
und mit der Sterngriffschraube fixieren.
Der Adapter kann nach Gebrauch im Gerät stecken bleiben.
5 Reinigung und Desinfektion
Dieses Produkt ist nicht für die maschinelle Reinigung und Des-
infektion geeignet!
Der Adapter kann nach Gebrauch im Gerät stecken bleiben und
zusammen mit diesem gereinigt und desinfiziert werden. Für
den Adapter gelten dabei die gleichen Wiederaufbereitungs-
empfehlungen wie für das verwendete Gerät. Bitte lesen Sie
dazu die Gebrauchsanweisung Ihres Gerätes.
Angaben des Reinigungs- und Desinfektionsmittelherstellers
unbedingt einhalten.
Nicht sterilisieren!

electrosurgical unit used! Read the user manual of the electro-
surgical unit and ask Erbe or your distributor in case of doubt!
1 Normal use
This product connects various instruments to Erbe equipment.

screw turned in:

3 Safety instructions
This product may be used only by trained medical staff, who
have been shown how to use it according to the instructions for
use.
Check the product before every occasion of use!
If damaged, do not use this product!
Risk of burns! If cables with uninsulated plugs are connected to
the adapter, they carry a current when activating the electrosur-
gical unit. Therefore, do not touch the adapter or uninsulated
sections of the cable during HF activation.
Do not use in the presence of combustible or explosive materi-
als!

Never lay this product on the patient or in his/her direct vicinity.
Protect this product from any form of mechanical damage! Do
not throw! Do not use force!
Erbe Elektromedizin expressly warns against modifying the
product. Any modification exempts Erbe Elektromedizin from
any and all liability.
4 How to use
Clean and disinfect the product before using it for the first time
and before each subsequent use.
The product must be fully inserted in the corresponding socket.
The limit stop must be clearly felt. Pull the product out of the
socket, keeping it straight. Transverse forces can otherwise
damage the socket.
Insert the instrument into the adapter as far as possible and fix
it in place with the grip screw.
The adapter can remain in the device after use.
5 Cleaning and disinfection
This product is not suitable for mechanical cleaning and disinfec-
tion!
The adapter can remain in the device after use and be cleaned
and disinfected together with it. The adapter is subject to the
same reprocessing recommendations as for the device being
used. Please read the User Manual for your device.
It is essential to follow the cleaning agent and disinfectant man-
ufacturers’ instructions.
Do not sterilize!
