LOUDSPEAKERBATTERYCHARGING/MAINTENANCE

TheLoudspeakerunitshipswithaninternalrechargeablebatterythatcanpowercontinuousoperationsfor

6to8hours(approx.).WerecommendthattheLoudspeakerunit’sbatteryisfullychargedpriortoinitial

operationsasfollows:

1. Connectthe“ACPowerAdapter/Charger”tothe“ACPowerCord.”

2. Connectthe“ACPowerCord”toa120velectricalwalloutlet.

3. Inserttheplugofthe“ACPowerAdapter/Charger”intotheLoudspeakerunit’sDCIN powerjack.

NOTE: Theunit’sCHARGELEDflashesyellowaslongasthebatteryischarging.Batterychargingmaytakeup

to(4)hours.

4. WhentheLoudspeakerunit’sbatteryisfullycharged(unit’sCHARGE LEDturnsoff),disconnectthe“AC

PowerCord”fromthewalloutletandthe“ACPowerAdapter/Charger”fromtheunit.

5. Oncefullycharged,disconnectthe“ACPowerAdapter/Charger”andACPowerCord.“ 

IMPORTANTNOTE: TopreventdamagetotheLoudspeakerunit’sbatterydueto“overcharging,”ALWAYS

disconnectthe“ACPowerAdapter/Charger”afterthebatteryhasbeenfullycharged.

IMPORTANTBATTERYMAINTENANCE/STORAGEINFORMATION:

TheLoudspeakerunitusesasealedlead‐acidgelbatterythatwillslowlyself‐dischargewhentheunitisNOT inuse.

PriortostoringtheLoudspeakerunitforanextendedperiod,

fullychargethebatterybeforestorageandthenchargeagainevery(3)months.

Thelead‐acidbatteryneedstoberechargedevery(3)monthsforcontinuedoperation.

PleasereplacethebatteryiftheLoudspeakerunitoperatingtimenoticeablydecrease,

evenafterafullchargecycle.

•ReferallservicingtoEnforcementTechnologyGroup,Inc.(ETGI)

personnel.Servicingisrequiredwhenacomponenthasbeendamaged

inanyway,suchaspowersupplycordorplugisdamaged,liquidhas

beenspilledorobjectshavefallenintoacomponent,componenthas

beenexposedtorainormoisture,componentdoesNOT operate

normallyorcomponenthasbeendropped.

•CAUTION!: Toreducetheriskofelectricshock;doNOT removethetop
