
• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, ensure that it is
intact and that there is no visible damage. When in doubt, do not use the
appliance and only contact technically competent personnel or retailers.
• Keep all components of the packaging out of the reach of children.
• Before connecting the appliance, ensure that the information on the power
data plate is compatible with your electricity distribution network. The data
plate is located on the bottom of the appliance.
• Connect the appliance to a socket that is only easily accessible by an adult.
• Do not place the appliance on delicate surfaces or surfaces which are
sensitive to heat, water and moisture.
• Position the product so that the steam is not directed towards persons,
furniture, curtains, walls, electrical appliances or objects affected by heat,
water and/or moisture.
• Only fill the tank with cold drinking water.
• WARNING: the heating unit in contact with the water reaches high
temperatures and should not be touched unless the appliance is cold.
• Do not move, lift, tilt, or perform any cleaning or maintenance when the
humidifier is in use or connected to the mains or is still hot.
• Before cleaning or drying of the appliance, remove the plug of the power
cord from the socket and always wait for the heating unit to cool: contact with
the heating unit when it is still hot could cause serious burns.
• When the tank, the essence container the steam chamber cover are
removed, pay attention to condensation and any residual water that may drip,
causing harm to persons, animals or property.
• Never leave the power cable plug inserted in the socket when the unit is not
being used or when it is unattended.
•Do not use accessories, spare parts or components not provided/supplied by
the manufacturer.
• Any repairs should only be performed by competent technical personnel or
by repairers authorized.
• The use of any electrical appliance requires compliance with certain basic
rules:
- Never touch the unit with wet or humid hands.
- Do not pull the power cord or the appliance itself to remove the plug from the
socket.
- Never leave the appliance exposed to weathering (rain, sun, etc.).
- Keep the appliance and the power cable away from sources of heat.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid or place it under
running water.
