
I. Preparation
SUBTASK 12-22-00-841-001-A00
(1) Obey the procedures given in TASK 10-10-01-500-801-A for normal parking.
(2) Make sure that landing gear safety pins are installed (TASK 32-00-01-910-801-A).
(3) Install the covers of the pitot, ice detector, engine air intake/exhaust, TAT sensors, APU air
inlet, APU exhaust duct, and anemometric static port.
(4) Seal the inlets and outlets of the refrigeration pack compartments (AMM 21-50-00/1) with
polyethylene film and adhesive tape.
(5) Seal the forward electronic compartment air exhaustion grilles (AMM 21-26-00/1) with
polyethylene film and adhesive tape.
(6) Seal the AOA vanes and their attachment bases on the fuselage (AMM 27-36-00/1) with
polyethylene film and adhesive tape.
(7) Make sure that the main door (AMM 52-10-00/1) and the cargo door (AMM 52-30-00/1) are
closed.
(8) Seal panel 312AR (AMM 06-42-00/101) with adhesive tape.
J. Light Dirt Removal (Figure 301)
SUBTASK 12-22-00-610-001-A00
(1) To clean the aircraft, using the wet wash procedure do as follows:
CAUTION: DO NOT DRY-CLEAN DUST FROM PAINTING OR ACRYLIC PARTS (PAS-
SENGER WINDOWS, WING-TO-FUSELAGE FAIRING, WING LIGHTS,
ETC.) NOT TO CAUSE SCRATCHES TO THEM.
(a) Prepare the cleaning solution in a dilution ratio of 10% in volume of detergent to one
liter of water.
CAUTION: DO NOTAPPLY SOLUTION IN LARGEAREAS WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY
CLEANED BEFORE THE SOLUTION DRIES ON THE SURFACE. STAINS
CAN OCCUR, IF THE SOLUTION DRIES ON THE SURFACE.
(b) Apply the cleaning solution with a spray gun or a soft-bristle sweeping brush or
equivalent equipment.
(c) Let the cleaning solution soak into the surface for a sufficient time for the dirt to
become soft (about 5 minutes).
