Preparation
Please read entire manual before installation.
Before You Start
•Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.
•Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfrom
directsunlight,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
Getting Started
•Remove2transitscrewslocatedontopoftheunit.
•Insertthesuppliedkeysintothe
slotsasshown,andslidetheunit
outofthemountingsleeve.
•Installmountingsleeveintoopening,
bendingtabstosecure.
•Connectwiringharnessand
antenna.Consultaqualified
technicianifyouareunsure.
•Certainvehiclesmayrequire
aninstallationkitand/orwiring
harnessadapter(soldseparately).
•Testforcorrectoperationandslide
intomountingsleevetosecure.
•Snaptrimringintoplace.

AGC fuse located in-line.

Press RELEASEandpullawayfromtheleftsidetoremove.
Tore-install,insertrightsideoffaceplatefirstthenpushleft
side to secure.
Removetrimringandinstallsupplied#1x7/32”Phillipshead
screwthroughleftsideofmountingframeintofaceplate.
Press PWRoranyotherbutton(excepteject)toturntheunit
on.InsertingaCDwillturntheunitonautomatically.Press
PWR to turn the unit off.
Press MODEtoselectbetweentuner,CDplayerandauxiliary
input.Modesofoperationareindicatedinthedisplay.
Insertastandard3.5mmconnectorintotheAUXinput(not
included).Connecttheotherendtoheadphoneorlineoutput
ofaudiodevice,MP3player,etc.PressMODEtoselectAUX
inputmode.
Press BASS to activate and deactivate bass boost curve.
Activatingthisfeaturewillenhancethebassfrequencies
whenlisteningtomusicatlowvolumes.
AdjustvolumeusingVOL tor VOL s(00-46).
Press EQ toselectbetweenCLASSIC,POP,ROCKandOFF
(default)equalizationcurves.AnyadjustmenttotheBassor
TreblesettingsautomaticallycancelsthecurrentEQcurve(if
oneisselected).
Press DISPtodisplaytheclock.Theradiofrequency(tuner
mode),CDelapsedtime/track(CDplayermode)orAUX
(Auxiliarymode)showbydefault.
Press DISPtodisplaytheclock,thenrelease.Pressandhold
DISPfor2seconds,theclockwillbegintoflash.PressTUNE
<<toadjustthehoursandTUNE >>toadjusttheminutes.
Clocksettingswillbesavedafter5seconds.

station.
Press TUNE << or >>formorethan2seconds,then
release.“MANU”willmomentarilyappearinthedisplay.
Press TUNE << or >>momentarilytomoveradiofrequency
upordownonestepatatime.Pressandholdtoadvance
quickly.Iftuningisnotadjustedfor5seconds,theunit
willreturntoseektuningmode(default).“AUTO”will
momentarilyappearinthedisplay.
Press MO/STformorethan2secondsduringFMtuner
operationtoselectmonoorstereo(default)receptionofthe
broadcastsignal.
Press BANDtoselectbetweenFM1,FM2,FM3andAM1,AM2
bands.
Press and hold BANDthenpressTUNE << to select
Europeanfrequencyspacing.PressandholdBAND then
pressTUNE >>toselectUSAfrequencyspacing(default).
Anytimefrequencyspacingischanged,allstationpresets
are erased.
Upto18FMstationsand12AMstationscanbestored.
Tostoreastation,selectthedesiredbandandstation.
Pressandholdthedesiredpresetbuttonformorethan2
seconds.Whenstored,thepresetnumberwillappearinthe
display.Thestationcanberecalledanytimebypressingthe
correspondingpresetbutton.
Press AS/PSformorethan2secondstoautomaticallystore
thesixstrongeststationsinthecurrentband.
Press AS/PSforlessthan2secondstoscanpresets
1-6onthecurrentband,pausingfor5secondsateach.
