IMPORTANT TO KNOW!
• When the watch is underwater or wet, never use the pushers/bezels, or set the time.
Watch cases and metal bracelets should be rinsed thoroughly in fresh water after
being in salt water.
• No hot tub/sauna. Please do not take your DIESEL watch into the hot tub/sauna.
The combination of extreme heat and water may cause your watch to lose some of
its water-resistance.
• No backward hand, or date, adjustments should be made when the analog hands
read between 8pm and 3am. At these times, the gears are too close together and
such a change could cause damage.

USING THE STOPWATCH
1. Press A to start/stop the stopwatch.
2. Press B to control the split time and reset.
STOPWATCH HAND ADJUSTMENT
1. Pull crown out to position 3.
2. Press A to reset the stopwatch 1/10 second hand to the “0” position.
3. Press B to reset the second and minute hands.
4. Each press of A or B will move the chronograph hands by one increment/decrement.
Press and hold A or B for fast increment/decrement.
NOTE: If the stopwatch hands function improperly, pull out crown and press A and B at the same
time for over 2 seconds. When the pushers are released, the stopwatch second and 1/10 second
hands will spin around and return to “0.” This will indicate that the internal circuit has been reset.

DATE SETTING
1. Pull crown out to position 2.
2. Rotate the crown clockwise until
the preview day’s date appears.
3. Return crown to position 1.
TIME SETTING
1. Pull crown out to position 2 when the
second hand is at the 12 o’clock position.
2. Rotate crown to set time.
3. Return crown to position 1.
USING THE STOPWATCH
1. Press A to start/stop the stopwatch.
2. Press B to control split time and reset.
NOTE: The measurement time is indicated by the stopwatch hands that move independently
of the center hands (and 24- hour hand where applicable).
NOTE: The stopwatch can measure up to 60 minutes.
STOPWATCH HAND ADJUSTMENT
1. Pull crown out to position 3.
2. Press A or B to reset all stopwatch hands to “0” position.
3. Each press of A or B will rotate hands clockwise; press B to rotate hands counter-clockwise.
Press and hold A or B for fast increment/decrement.
4. Return crown to position 1.
NOTE: Before setting the time, check if all the chronograph hands - 1/10 second (where
applicable), second, minute - are at the “0”(12 o’clock) position.
NOTE: If the stopwatch is in use, press the buttons in the following order to reset it, and then
check if the hands return to the “0” position.

TIME SETTING
1. Press and hold C for 2 seconds to enter time
setting mode; “seconds” will begin flashing.
2. Press B to set and advance to next setting value.
3. Setting sequence is seconds, minutes, hour
(12/24H format), month, day, week.
4. Press D to advance the flashing digit.
5. Press C to exit setting mode.
NOTE: Pressing D while the seconds are in the range of 30 to 59 resets them to 00 and adds 1 to the
“minutes”. In the range of 00 to 29, the minutes are unchanged.
NOTE: Press A for 3 seconds to activate EL backlight.
CHRONOGRAPH
1. Press D to start/stop chronograph.
2. When stopped, press C to return to zero.
3. When running, press C to split count, then press D to exit split count
4. Press C to return to zero.
5. Press B to return to time setting.
TIMER MODE
1. The display range of the timer is 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
2. Press D to start/stop the timer. Press C to return to starting value.
3. Timer sounds for 10 seconds when counting down to 00:00:00. The timer will automatically reset to
its starting value after the alarm stops.
4. To set time to a specific time press C for 2 seconds, “hours” will begin flashing.
5. Press B to select hours or minutes setting, Press D to adjust the flashing item, Press C
6. to complete setting
7. Press D to start/stop timer
8. Press C to reset
DUAL TIME
In the ‘Dual Time’ mode, press and hold C for 2 seconds to select “minutes” setting; Press B to select
“hours” setting, Press D to adjust the flashing item; Press C to finish setting and to exit setting mode.

AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTI!
• Quando l’orologio è sott’acqua o bagnato, non usare mai i pulsanti o le corone, e non impostare
l’ora. Le casse degli orologi e i bracciali di metallo devono essere accuratamente sciacquati in
acqua dolce dopo essere stati immersi in acqua salata.
• Mai in sauna/idromassaggio. Non indossare mail il proprio orologio DIESEL in sauna o
nell’idromassaggio. La combinazione di calore estremo e acqua potrebbe causare la perdita di
parte della resistenza all’acqua dell’orologio.
• Non girare in senso antiorario le lancette o spostare indietro la data, e non modificare mai l’ora
quando le lancette analogiche si trovano fra le 20:00 e le 3:00. In questo arco di tempo gli
ingranaggi sono troppo vicini fra loro e apportare cambiamenti potrebbe causare danni.

assieme A e B per più di due secondi. Al rilascio dei pulsanti, le lancette dei secondi e dei decimi
di secondo compieranno un intero giro del quadrante fino a tornare sulla posizione “0”. Ciò indica
che i circuiti interni sono stati reimpostati.

NOTA: Prima di impostare l’ora, verificare che tutte le lancette del cronografo, che la lancetta
dei decimi di secondo (ove disponibile), dei secondi e dei minuti si trovino in posizione “0” (a
mezzogiorno).
NOTA: Se si sta usando il cronometro, premere i pulsanti nell’ordine seguente per azzerarlo, quindi
verificare che le lancette ritornino in posizione “0”.

PANORAMICA
Le funzioni includono CALENDARIO, SVEGLIA, FORMATO 12/24 ORE, CRONOGRAFO, TIMER,
DOPPIO ORARIO (DUAL TIME), RETROILLUMINAZIONE ELETTROLUMINESCENTE.
REGOLAZIONE ORA
1. Tenere premuto C per 2 secondi per attivare la modalità di regolazione ora; i secondi cominceranno
a lampeggiare.
2. Premere B per regolare e per passare al valore successivo da regolare.
3. La sequenza di impostazione è: secondi, minuti, ore (formato 12/24 ore), mese, giorno, settimana.
4. Premere D per regolare la cifra che lampeggia.
5. Premere C per uscire dalla modalità di regolazione.
NOTA: viene aggiunta un’unità ai minuti e i secondi vengono azzerati se si preme D mentre i secondi
hanno un valore compreso tra 30 e 59. Se il valore dei secondi è compreso tra 00 e 29, invece, i minuti
rimangono invariati.
NOTA: tenere premuto A per 3 secondi per attivare la retroilluminazione.
IMPOSTAZIONE SVEGLIA
1. Premere D per attivare e disattivare la sveglia o la suoneria.
2. Per impostare la sveglia, tenere premuto C per 2 secondi per selezionare “ore”; premere B per
selezionare i “minuti”; premere D per modificare il valore della cifra che lampeggia.
3. Quando la sveglia mostra l’orario previsto, l’icona della sveglia lampeggerà e la suoneria verrà
attivata per 20 secondi, per poi fermarsi automaticamente.
