Description
This aluminium enclosure enables you to install a 2.5″ SATA HDD or SSD and
to connect it to a free Thunderbolt™ port of your Mac, PC or notebook. The
Thunderbolt™ interface supports a data transfer rate twice the speed of USB 3.0
and thus enables a fast data flow.

Hardware Installation
Note:
Follow the general instructions for installation of the enclosure. If necessary, read
the manual of your computer, or ask a specialist for help.
1. Open the housing and take out the bracket together with the board.
2. Connect your SATA HDD to the SATA connector.
3. Fasten the HDD to the board by using the included screws.
4. Insert the HDD into the housing and use the screws to attach the panel to
housing.
Driver Installation
Windows 7/8 (32/64-bit)
Please note:
For Windows: the Thunderbolt™ certified driver needs to be installed
before you connect the device.
1. Switch on your computer.
2. Put the driver CD in the CD ROM drive and open it. Start "Setup.exe" by
"double click".
3. Follow the instructions of the driver installation.
4. Restart your system after the installation.
5. Connect an optional Thunderbolt™ cable to the enclosure and a free port of
your computer.
6. The external drive will be recognized and you can start using the device
immediately.

In das Aluminium-Gehäuse können Sie eine 2.5″ SATA Festplatte oder SSD
einbauen und dieses an einen freien Thunderbolt™ Port Ihres Mac, PC oder
Notebook anschließen. Der Thunderbolt™ Anschluss bietet eine doppelt so hohe
Datenübertragungsrate wie USB 3.0 und unterstützt somit einen extrem schnellen
Datenfluss.

Hardware Installation
Hinweis:
Folgen Sie den hier anschließenden allgemeinen Anweisungen zur Installation
des Gehäuses. Bei Bedarf lesen Sie bitte in Ihrem Computerhandbuch nach oder
wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann.
1. Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse und nehmen Sie die Blende mit der Platine raus.
2. Verbinden Sie Ihre SATA Festplatte mit dem SATA Anschluss.
3. Fixieren Sie die Festplatte mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben an der Platine.
4. Stecken Sie die Festplatte in das Gehäuse und schrauben Sie nun das
Gehäuse zu.
Treiber Installation
Windows 7/8 (32/64-Bit)
Bitte beachten Sie:
Für Windows: der Thunderbolt™ zertifizierte Treiber muss installiert
werden, bevor das Gerät angeschlossen wird.
1. Schalten Sie Ihren Computer ein.
2. Legen Sie die Treiber CD in Ihr Laufwerk und öffnen dieses. Starten Sie die
"Setup.exe" mit "Doppelklick".
3. Folgen Sie nun den Anweisungen der Treiber Installation.
4. Starten Sie nach der Installation Ihr System neu.
5. Verbinden Sie nun ein optionales Thunderbolt™ Kabel mit dem Gehäuse und
einem freien Port Ihres Computers.
6. Das externe Laufwerk wird sofort erkannt und Sie können das Gerät sofort
verwenden.

Description
Ce châssis en aluminium vous permet d’installer un disque dur ou un SSD SATA
de 2.5″, et de le brancher sur un port Thunderbolt™ libre sur votre Mac, PC ou
notebook. L‘interface Thunderbolt™ prend en charge un taux de transfert de

Installation matérielle
Note:
Suivez les instructions générales pour l'installation du boîtier. Si nécessaire,
consultez le manuel de votre ordinateur, ou demandez l'aide d'un spécialiste.
1. Ouvrez le boîtier et faites sortir le support ensemble avec le plateau.
2. Branchez votre DD SATA sur les connecteurs SATA.
3. Vissez le DD sur le plateau en utilisant les vis fournies.
4. Insérez le DD dans le boîtier et utilisez les vis pour attacher le boîtier.
Installation du pilote
Windows 7/8 (32/64-bit)
Veuillez noter:
Pour Windows: le pilote certifié Thunderbolt™ doit être installé avant de
brancher votre appareil.
1. Allumez votre ordinateur.
2. Mettez le CD de pilotes dans le lecteur de CD ROM et ouvrez-le. Lancez
"Setup.exe" par un "double clic".
3. Suivez les instructions d’installation du pilote.
4. Redémarrez votre système après l’installation.
5. Branchez un câble Thunderbolt™ optionnel sur le châssis et sur un port libre
de votre ordinateur.
6. Le lecteur externe est reconnu et vous pouvez immédiatement commencer à
l'utiliser.
