Bleeding theair out of thehydraulic system
During packing and transport, air can become trapped in thehydraulic system causing
thejack to operate erratically and reduce its performance. Bleed thejack as follows:
1. Make sure thejack is on alevel surface.
2. Check theoil level as directed in theChecking and topping up thehydraulic oil
section above.
3. Pump thelifting arm all theway up and down 6 or 7 times in arow.
4. Recheck theoil level and top up theoil if necessary.
Storage
When storing thejack, always make sure that thejack lifting arm and saddle are
fully lowered.

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

Care and maintenance
Checking and topping up thehydraulic oil
1. Twist thehandle anticlockwise until
therelease valve is fully open and
thesaddle of thejack is completely
lowered.
2. Clean thearea around theoil filler plug
to prevent contaminates from entering
thehydraulic system.
3. Unscrew theoil filler plug.
Note: The other cap covers thesafety
overload valve. Do not open thesafety
overload valve, it is factory set and must
not be adjusted.
4. The oil level should be up to thebottom of
thethread in theoil filler port. Top up theoil
using hydraulic jack oil (SAE 5 W).
5. Screw theoil filler plug back in.
