Safety
• Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
• Great care should be exercised when handling and cleaning
theblade and thebeaker. Theblade is verysharp.
• Theproduct should always be disconnected from
themains when it is not in use, when it is to be assembled/
disassembled and when it is to be cleaned.
• Theproduct must not be used by children. Ensure
that theproduct and its mains lead are kept out of
children’sreach.
• Theproduct must only be used with theincluded motorunit.
• Note: Ensure that theproduct is switched off before thebowl
is removed from themotorunit.
• Wash thebeaker, cutter blade, other chopping attachments
and lid with warm soapywater.
• Switch theproduct off and disconnect it from themains
before removing theblade or any of themovingparts.
• Theproduct may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge
which could jeopardise their safety, provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning thesafe use of
theproduct and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.

• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage.
Referto theproduct’s ratingplate.
• Always remove thebeaker from themotor unit before
cleaning. Theblade is extremely sharp and could cause
serious personal injury if theproduct were to start accidentally.
• To prevent electric shocks, theproduct and its mains lead
should be keptdry.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges
orcorners.
• Always disconnect theproduct from thepower supply by
holding and pulling theplug. Donot pull themainslead.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and
that theproduct is switched off before it is connected to
thepowersupply.
• Never operate theproduct without food in thecontainer.
• Never use theproduct close to heat sources.
• Only use thesupplied parts and/or accessories.
• Never use theproduct for anything other than its
intendeduse.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse
theproduct if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service facility or
qualified technician.
• Theproduct is only intended for normal domestic use and
only in themanner described in this instruction manual and in
similar environments such as in canteens, offices, hotels and
hostels.

Thelid is used both to protect thebottom of thebowl and as alid if food is
kept in thebowl after chopping.

Instructions for use
The blender
Theblender is ideally suited for preparing dips,
sauces, soups, baby food, milkshakes,etc.
Blendfor max 1 min at atime, then let
themotor cool before blendingagain.
1. Align thearrow on theblending leg
up with theopen padlock symbol on
themotorunit.
2. Twist theblending leg so that thearrow
lines up with thelocked padlock symbol.
3. Lower theblending leg into thebeaker.
Switch theblender on by pressing [l] or [ll].
Release thebutton to stop blending.
4. Unplug themains lead from thewall socket.
The chopper
Thechopper is suitable for meat, cheese, onions, herbs,
garlic, carrots, nuts,etc. Avoidchopping extremely hard
foodstuffs such as coffee beans orice. Chopfor max 15
sec, then let themotor cool before choppingagain.
Thechopping blade is very sharp, hold it only by
theplasticpart.
1. Fit thechopping blade onto themount in thebowl.
2. Place thefood to be chopped into thebowl. Referto
thefood quantity table to prevent overloading
theblender.
3. Put thelidon.
4. Insert themotor unit into thelid and twist so that
thearrow lines up with thelocked padlock symbol.
5. Plug themains lead into awall socket.
Startthechopper by pressing [l] or [ll].
6. Release thebutton to stop chopping.
7. Unplug themains lead and detach themotor unit from
thelid.
8. Carefully remove thechoppingblade.
9. Empty thechopped ingredients out of thebowl.

The balloon whisk
Only use theballoon whisk to whip cream, eggs and other runny
ingredients. Whiskfor max 2 min, then let themotor cool before
whiskingagain.
1. Push theballoon whisk into theholder.
2. Align thearrow on theholder up with theopen padlock
symbol on themotorunit.
3. Twist theholder so that thearrow lines up with thelocked
padlock symbol.
4. Start whisking by pressing [l] or [ll]. Release thebutton to
stop whisking.
5. Unplug themains lead from thewall socket.

Care and maintenance
Thehand blender blade and thechopping blade are extremelysharp. Takecare
not to cut yourself.
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall socket before cleaning.
• Clean themotor unit, thechopping bowl lid and theballoon whisk holder
with adampcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive
chemicals. Neverimmerse themotor unit inwater. Thechopping bowl, container,
balloon whisk, chopping blade and blender are dishwashersafe.
Let theblender dry by placing it upside down so that thewater can drain off
after washing.
• Strongly coloured foodstuffs may discolour plasticparts. Coatthese parts with
athin layer of vegetable oil before washing them in adishwasher.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with
general householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout theentire EU. Inorder
to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling
so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner.

contact theplace of purchase. Theywill ensure that theproduct is
