this statement carefully before using it. By using it, you will be deemed to have accepted all the
content in this statement. Please install and use the product strictly in accordance with these
instructions. Shenzhen Chinowing Technology Co., Ltd will not bear any legal responsibility for
any results or losses caused by improper use, installation, final assembly, modification.
2. Product Notes
1) Power supply of D02 airborne unit and ground unit: DC7.4-12V (lithium battery 2s-6s), please
strictly follow this data to power the module.
2) Be sure to install the antennas before power on to avoid damage to the circuit.
3) Make sure the antenna is free of obstruction and bending, and keep it away from large metal
object to avoid blocking the communication.
4) Please do not disassemble or modify D02. If you encounter any unsolvable problems in the
process of installation or use, please contact us.
5) Maintain a suitable distance between each device to minimize electromagnetic interference
between the equipment.
6) Before use, please ensure that all the connection is tight and reliable, all components work
properly.
7) Before use, please check the surrounding environment to ensure that no other
900-930MHZ equipment interference, otherwise the D02 data transmission may be seriously
affected.
8) If you encounter any problems that cannot be solved during the installation or use of the

3. Product Introduction
D02 radio is a data link transmission equipment.The ground terminal data can be sent to the
airborne terminal through the digital transmission signal,and the point-to-point,relay
station,point-to-multiple and other methods can be used for direct communication.It is mainly
used to solve the can transmit remote control signal and data transmission signal
simultaneously. It has the characteristics of small size, good integration and high sensitivity.D02
operates in the 902-928MHZ frequency band, max communication distance can reach 50KM.

5. Product Operation Instruction
D02 data link logo description
① data transmission indicator
When the XD light is on,it means the receiver has received data;when the TXD light is on,it means the receiver has
sent data.
② signal intensity
Indicator S1 S2 S3 is signal strength indicator. S1&S2&S3 ON, it means strong signal; S2&S3 ON, it means
moderate signal; S3 ON, it means weak signal.
③ SET key
Used to enter radio configuration mode

Connection Diagram of Ground End
The ground terminal is a dual USB interface,which supports power supply or
data connection interface.The DC 5V interface only has power supply
function,and is mainly used for computers with USB2.0 current of 500ma.
Connection diagram of airborne end
1、Airborne terminal supply voltage 7.4-24V。
2、The cross connection between TTL and flight controller TX RX is as follow：
Module usage steps
After the connection at both ends is completed,please refer to the following steps
to check the status.(This step will have some differences due to different flight
controllers)
1.Use USB type-c to connect the USB interface of the ground end to the
computer,and the driver will be automatically installed when there is a net work
for the first time;

1. Open the device manager of the computer,you can see that the ground end is
correctly identified,the driver is installed correctly, and there is no yellow
exclamation.
2. Open the flight controller ground station software, select the corresponding
COM port,and connect to the flight controller.The normal connection of the flight
controller means that the data transmission link of the D02 module has been
connected.If the connection fails,please check the following points.
①Check whether the baud rate of the flight controller is consistent with the
baud rate of the D02 air terminal.
②Make sure that the serial port connection of D02 ground terminal is
normal.
③When you use the D02 parameter setting software,make sure the network
address of air end and ground end are the same.
④Make sure that the RX of the flight controller corresponds to the TX of D02
3.The default factory baud rate of D02 module is 115200,address:555 if you need
to change it,please refer to the software configuration chapter.

After power-on the airborne end and ground terminal, the indicator status is like the below, it
means 2 modules have connected normally.

for all Microhard P900 product series.Please pay attention to check the software
firmware version when using it.The software will be updated from time to time to
add new functions.Please keep an eye on our website to get the latest
software,firmware and technical support
You need to go to the official website “www.chinowing.com”to download
“D02.exe” if you configure D02 software.

Software configuration installation process
1. Download D02.exe；
2. Click D02.exe and follow the prompts to install；
3. Run D02.exe；
Software configuration introduction
1. The D02 software provides two options for
entering configuration mode：
(1) Force Mode : use the configuration key to enter the configuration mode.
How to use：
Press and hold the configuration button and power on D02,the
default baud rate is 9600,click to connect.
