IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your atiron, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
1. Use iron only for its intended use.
2. To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
3. The iron should always be turned to MIN TEMP before plugging or unplugging from outlet.
4. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
5. Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
6. Let iron cool completely before putting away. Loop cord loosely around iron when storing.
7. Always disconnect iron from electrical outlet when lling with water or emptying and when not
in use.
8. Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. To avoid
the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the iron take it to a qualied serviceman for exa-
mination and repair. Incorrect reassembly can cause a risk of electric shock when iron is used.
9. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not leave
iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
10.Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution when you turn
a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the reservoir.
11.If the malfunction indicator goes on, the atiron is not operating normally. Disconnect from the
power supply and have the atiron serviced by qualied service personnel.
12.If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similarly qualied person in order to avoid a hazard.
13.This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
14.Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.The iron must
not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
15.The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water reservoir is lled with water.
16.The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
17.When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is sta-
ble.
18.The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is
leaking.
19.Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized
or cooling down.
NOTE:
1. DO NOT let children or untrained persons use the appliance without supervision.
2. NEVER immerse the iron, cable or plug in any liquid.
3. DO NOT leave the hot iron touching fabrics or very inammable surfaces.
4. DO NOT leave the appliance unnecessarily plugged in. Disconnect the plug from the mains
when the appliance is not being used.
5. NEVER touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
6. DO NOT use the power cord or the appliance in order to pull the plug out of the socket.
7. DO NOT leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc.).
8. DO NOT leave the iron without supervision when it is connected to the power supply.
9. DO NOT ll the reservoir with water before removing the plug from the socket.
10.DO NOT use chemical additive, scented substances or decalcies. Failure to comply with the
above-mentioned regulations leads to the loss of guarantee.

General Instruction
When using the iron for the rst time, you may notice a slight emission of smoke and hear some
sounds made by the expanding plastics. This is normal and will stop after a short time. We recom-
mend passing the iron over an ordinary cloth before using it for the rst time.
Preparations
Soft the laundry to be ironed according to the international symbols on the garment label, or if this
is missing, according to the type of fabric.

NOTE: Start ironing the garments requiring a low temperature. This reduces the waiting
times (the iron takes less time to heat up than to cool down) and eliminates the risk
of scorching the fabric.
Steam ironing
Filling the reservoir
1. Check that the plug is disconnected from the socket.
2. Move the steam knob (4) to “min” [Fig. 1].
3. Open the lid (3).
4. Raise the tip of the iron to help the water enter the opening without overowing.
5. Slowly pour the water into the reservoir with using the special measure and taking care not to
go over the maximum level indicated by “MAX” on the reservoir [Fig. 2].
6. Close the lid (3).
Selecting the temperature.
1. Put the iron in a vertical position.
2. Put the plug in the socket.
3. Adjust the Temp-knob (13) according to the international symbol on the garment label [Fig.
3]. The plate temperature control light indicates that the iron is heating up. Wait until the
plate temperature control light goes off before ironing.
Warning:
During ironing, the plate temperature control light comes on at intervals, indicating that the se-
lected temperature is maintained. If you lower the thermostat temperature after ironing at a high
temperature, do not start ironing until the plate temperature control light comes on again.
Selecting the steam
The quantity of steam is regulated by the steam selector (4).
1. Move the steam selector to a position between minimum and maximum depending on the qu-
antity of steam required and the temperature selected [Fig. 1].
Warning:
The iron gives off steam continuously only if you hold the iron horizontally. You can stop the conti-
nuous steam by placing the iron in a vertical position or by moving the steam selector to “min”. As
indicated on the thermostat knob (13) and in the initial table, you can only use steam at the highest
temperatures. If the selected temperature is too low, water may drip onto the plate.
Selecting Shot-steam and steam when ironing vertically
1. Press the shot-steam button (5) to generate a powerful burst of steam that can penetrate the
fabrics and smooth the most difcult and tough creases. Wait for a few seconds before pres-
sing again [Fig. 4].
2. By pressing the shot-steam button at intervals you can also iron vertically (curtains, hung gar-
ments, etc.) [Fig. 5].
Warning:
The shot-steam function can only be used at high temperatures. Stop the emission when the plate
temperature control light comes on, then start ironing again only after the light has gone off.

Dry ironing
To iron without steam, follow the instructions in section “steam ironing”, leaving the steam selector
(4) on position “min”.
Spray Function
1. Make sure that there is water in the reservoir. Press the spray button (6) slowly (for a dense
spray) or quickly (for a vaporized spray) [Fig. 6].
Warning:
For delicate fabrics, we recommend moistening the fabric beforehand using the spray function (6)
or putting a damp cloth between the iron and the fabric. To avoid staining, do not use the spray on
silk or synthetic fabrics.
Cleaning
Note:
• Before cleaning the iron in any way, make sure that the appliance plug is not connected to the
socket.
• Any deposits, starch residue or size left on the plate can be removed using a damp cloth or an
abrasive liquid detergent.
• Avoid scratching the plate with steel wool or metallic objects.
• The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth then wiped over with a dry cloth.
Self-cleaning
The self-cleaning feature cleans inside the plate, removing impurities. We recommend using it
every 10-15 days. Directions:
1. Fill the reservoir up to the maximum level indicated and set the steam selector (4) to the close
gear. [Fig. 1]
2. Set the thermostat knob (13) to the maximum temperature and wait for the light to turn off.
3. Set the steam selector (4) to the self-cleaning gear, and it will automatically popup, then begin
to clean the soleplate (1). [Fig. 7]
4. Pull the plug out of the socket and hold the iron horizontally over the sink.
5. Set the steam selector (4) to the close gear until all the boiling water, steam, impurities come
out.
6. When the soleplate has cooled down, you can clean it with a damp cloth.

Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it
responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
Warranty
Champion Nordic guarantees that this product is free from manufacturing defects in
terms of materials and workmanship during a period of 2 years in Sweden, Norway,
Denmark and Finland. This warranty period begins on the day the product is purchas-
ed or delivered. Champion Nordic has no obligation to repair or replace products that
are not accompanied by a valid proof of purchase. This warranty applies only to pro-
ducts purchased and used for home use and does not cover damage resulting from
abuse, failure to comply with the instructions from Champion Nordic, cases in which
the product has been modied or subjected to unauthorized repair, improper packa-
ging on the part of the owner, normal wear and tear, or improper handling on the part
of a transport company.
Tips
• We recommend using the lowest temperatures with fabrics that have unusual nishes (sequins,
embroidery, ush, etc.).
• If the fabric is mixed (e.g. 40% cotton 60% synthetics), set the thermostat to the temperature of
the ber requiring the lower temperature.
• If you don’t know the composition of the fabric, determine the suitable temperature by testing
on a hidden corner of the garment. Start with a low temperature and increase it gradually until it
reaches the ideal temperature.
• Never iron areas with traces of perspiration or other marks: the heat of the plate xes the stains
on the fabric, making them irremovable.
• The size is more effective if you use a dry iron at a moderate temperature: excess heat scor-
ches it with the risk of forming a yellow mark.
• To avoid marking silk, woolen or synthetic garments shiny, iron them inside out.
• To avoid marking velvet garments shiny, iron in one direction (following the ber) and do not
press down on the iron.
• The heavier the washing machine is loaded, the more garments come out creased. This also
happens when the spin-drying revolutions are very high.
• Many fabrics are easier to iron if they are not completely dry. For example, silk should always
be ironed damp.
Storage
1. Disconnect the plug of the iron from the socket.
2. Empty the reservoir by turning the iron upside down and gently shaking it.
3. Leave the iron to cool down completely.
4. Roll up the power cord with the rewinder
5. Always put the iron away in a vertical position.

strykjärnet används.
8. Var extra uppmärksam när apparaten används i närheten av barn. Lämna ej strykjärnet obeva-
kat när det är anslutet eller står på en strykbräda.
9. Brännskador kan uppstå vid beröring av varma metalldelar, hett vatten eller ånga. Var försiktig
när du vänder ett strykjärn med ångfunktion nedåt - det kan nnas hett vatten i vattenbehålla-
ren.
10.Om felindikatorn aktiveras fungerar inte strykjärnet normalt. Koppla ur strömtillförseln och få
strykjärnet undersökt av kvalicerad tekniker.
11.Om strömkabeln har skadats måste den bytas ut av tillverkaren eller tillverkarens servicetekni-
ker eller en person med liknande kvalikationer. Detta för att undvika risk för fara.
12.Denna apparat är ej avsedd att användas av personer med reducerad fysisk, sensorisk eller
mental kapacitet (inklusive barn), eller av personer som saknar erfarenhet eller kunskap om
produkten, om dessa ej har instruerats om användningen och övervakas av en person som är
ansvarig för deras säkerhet.
13.Barn bör hållas under uppsikt för att säkerställa att de inte leker med apparaten.
14.Strykjärnet får ej lämnas utan uppsikt när det är anslutet till strömnätet.
15.Kontakten måste dras ur uttaget innan vattenbehållaren fylls med vatten. Strykjärnet måste
användas på en stabil och vågrät yta.
16.Se till att ytan är stabil innan du placerar strykjärnet på den.
17.Strykjärnet skall ej användas om det har tappats, om det nns synliga tecken på skada eller

OBS:
1. LÅT EJ barn eller personer utan kunskap om strykjärnet använda det utan övervakning.
2. SÄNK ALDRIG ned strykjärnet, sladden eller kontakten i någon form av vätska.
3. LÄMNA EJ strykjärnet i kontakt med tyger eller mycket eldfarliga ytor.
4. LÄMNA EJ strykjärnet med strömmen på. Koppla ur kontakten ur uttaget när apparaten inte
används.
5. ANVÄND EJ strömkabeln eller själva strykjärnet för att dra ur kontakten ur uttaget.
6. LÅT EJ apparaten utsättas för väder och vind (regn, sol, etc.).
7. LÄMNA EJ apparaten obevakad när den är ansluten till strömnätet.
8. FYLL EJ vattenbehållaren med vatten innan du har dragit ur kontakten ur uttaget.
9. ANVÄND EJ kemiska medel, parfymerade produkter eller avkalkningsmedel med strykjärnet.

Generella instruktioner
Första gången du använder strykjärnet kan det eventuellt uppstå en viss rökutveckling och du kan
höra ljud som kommer från att plasten expanderar. Detta är normalt och kommer att upphöra inom
kort. Vi rekommenderar att du stryker med strykjärnet över en vanlig trasa några gånger innan du
använder det på andra material.
Förberedelser
Mjukgör tvätten enligt de tvättråd som nns på plaggetiketten. Om det saknas en etikett, gå efter
vilken typ av tyg du ska stryka.

Notera: Börja att stryka de plagg som ska strykas på låg temperatur. Detta reducerar
väntetiden (det tar kortare tid för strykjärnet att värmas upp än att svalna av) och
eliminerar risken för att bränna plagget.
Ångstrykning
Fyll upp tanken
1. Kontrollera att kontakten är urdragen ur vägguttaget.
2. Flytta ångknappen (4) till “min” [gur 1].
3. Öppna locket (3).
4. Ställ strykjärnet med spetsen uppåt för att skynda på ifyllningsprocessen utan översvämning.
5. Fyll tanken långsamt med vatten genom att använda måttet. Var noga med att inte fylla tanken
över MAX-nivån som indikeras på nivåmätaren. [Fig. 2].
6. Stäng locket (3).
Välj temperatur.
1. Ställ strykjärnet i en vertikal position.
2. Sätt i kontakten i eluttaget.
3. Justera temperaturreglaget (13) enligt de internationella symbolerna på plaggets etikett [Fig.
3]. Sulans temperaturkontrollampa indikerar att strykjärnet håller på att hettas upp. Vänta tills
temperaturkontrollampan släcks innan du börjar stryka.
Varning: Under strykning aktiveras temperaturkontrollampan i intervaller. Detta indikerar att
den valda temperaturen bibehålls. Börja inte stryka igen förrän sulans temperatur
kontrollampa aktiveras igen om du har sänkt termostaten efter att ha strukit på
en högre temperatur.
Välj ångnivå
Mängden ånga regleras genom ångnivåreglaget (4).
1. Justera ångnivåreglaget till en position mellan minimum och maximum beroende på önskad
mängd ånga samt vald temperatur [gur 1].
Varning: Strykjärnet avger endast ångan kontinuerligt om du håller det horisontellt. Du kan
stoppa den kontinuerliga ångningen genom att placera strykjärnet i en vertikal
position eller genom att ytta ångnivåreglaget till ”min”. På termostatreglaget (13)
och i den ursprungliga tabellen framgår att du endast kan använda ångfunktionen på
högsta temperatur. Om vald temperatur är för låg kommer vatten att droppa på
sulan.
Välj ångpuff och ångning vid vertikal position
1. Tryck på ångpuffsknappen (5) för att generera en kraftfull puff av ånga som kan tränga igenom
tyg och släta ut de mest skrynklade ytor. Vänta ett par sekunder innan du trycker igen [gur 4].
2. Genom att trycka på ångpuffsknappen i intervaller kan du även stryka vertikalt (gardiner, tyger
som hänger, etc.) [Fig. 5].
Varning: Ångpuffsfunktionen kan endast användas på hög temperaturnivå. Sluta tryck på
knappen när sulans temperaturkontrollampa aktiveras, och börja endast stryka igen
när lampan har slutat lysa.

Torrstrykning
För att stryka utan ånga, följ instruktionerna i sektionen ”Ångstrykning” men låt ångnivåreglaget (4)
vara på ”min”.
Sprayfunktionen
1. Se till att det nns vatten i tanken. Tryck långsamt på sprayknappen (6) (för att skapa ett tjockt
spray) eller snabbt (för ett ångande spray)[Fig. 6].
Varning: Vi rekommenderar att du fuktar känsliga tyger innan du använder sprayfunktionen
(6), alternativt att du lägger en fuktad handduk eller trasa mellan strykjärnet och
tyget. För att undvika äckar, använd ej sprayfunktionen på silke eller på syntetiska
tyger.
Rengöring
Notera:
• Innan du rengör strykjärnet på något sätt, se till att dess kontakt är utdragen ur vägguttaget.
• Avlagringar, stärkelserester eller liknande kan avlägsnas från sulan genom att använda en
fuktad trasa eller ett ytande rengöringsmedel med slipeffekt.
• Undvik att repa sulan med stålull eller föremål av metall.
• Plastdelarna kan rengöras med en fuktad trasa. Avsluta med att torka plasten med en torr tra-
sa.
Självrengöring
Självrengöringsfunktionen rengör inuti sulan och avlägsnar orenheter. Vi rekommenderar att du
använder funktionen var 10:e till 15:e dag.
Instruktioner:
1. Fyll upp tanken till maxnivån och ställ in ångnivån på stängd. [Fig. 1]
2. Sätt termostatreglaget (13) på maxtemperatur och vänta tills lampan slocknar.
3. Sätt ångnivåreglaget (4) på självrengöringsnivån. Denna kommer då automatiskt poppa upp
och börja rengöra sulan(1). [Fig. 7]
4. Dra ur kontakten ur vägguttaget och håll strykjärnet horisontellt över en vask.
5. Justera ångnivåreglaget (4) till stängd till dess att allt kokande vatten, all ånga och alla orenhet-
er har kommit ut.
6. När strykjärnets sula har svalnat kan du rengöra den med en fuktad trasa.
