E-2
zDo not use malfunctioning 3D glasses.
zAvoid water and other liquids.
zDo not disassemble or modify the 3D glasses in any way.
zDo not drop the 3D glasses or otherwise subject them to impact.
Warning
Do not use 3D glasses that are damaged, operating abnormally, or malfunctioning.
Continued use creates the risk of personal injury, eye fatigue, deteriorated physical health, etc.
Do not use 3D glasses that are broken or cracked.
Never allow the 3D glasses to become wet.
Water and other liquids create the risk of fire and electric shock.
Never try to take the 3D glasses apart or modify them in any way. Doing so creates the risk of
electric shock, burn injury, and personal injury, and improper operation during 3D viewing can
result in deteriorated physical health. Disassembling or modifying the 3D glasses can void their
warranty or make them ineligible for servicing. Request all servicing and repair from your
original retailer or the contact specified for repair.
Do not drop the 3D glasses, and do not allow them to be stepped upon, subjected to strong
force, or impacted by an object dropped from above. Doing so can break the lenses or other

Doing so creates the risk of fire and electric shock.
• Areas subject to large amounts of moisture or dust
• In a kitchen or other areas exposed to oil smoke
• Near a heater, on a heated carpet, or in an area exposed to direct sunlight
• Other areas subjected to temperature extremes
zNever leave the 3D glasses in a bathroom or anywhere else there is the
chance that they will become wet.
zKeep the battery and other accessory items of the 3D glasses out of
the reach of small children.
Inhaling or swallowing small items create the risk of suffocation, indigestion, etc. Should a button battery

E-4
zButton battery
zNever look directly at the sun while wearing the 3D glasses.
Misuse of a battery can cause it to leak and stain the area around it, or to explode, creating the
risk of fire and personal injury. Make sure that you always observe the following precautions.
• Never try to take the batteries apart and do not allow them to become shorted.
• Never expose the batteries to heat or throw them into fire.
• Do not expose the batteries to direct sunlight or otherwise expose them to intense
heat.
• Never mix old batteries and new ones.
• Never mix batteries of different types.

E-5
zRemove batteries from the 3D glasses immediately after they go dead.
zRemove batteries from the 3D glasses if you do not plan to use them
for a long time.
zBe sure to follow all applicable local laws and regulations when
disposing of batteries.
zBe sure to follow all applicable local laws and regulations when
disposing of the 3D glasses.
zYou need to wear your glasses or any other devices you normally use
for vision correction.
If you normally wear glasses or contact lenses, you should be wearing them when you watch 3D images
with the 3D glasses. Failure to do so creates the risk of eye fatigue or abnormal vision.
zDo not wear the 3D glasses except when viewing 3D images.
Using the 3D glasses for any other purpose besides viewing 3D images creates the risk of personal injury
and eye fatigue.
Caution
Do not view 3D images if you are experiencing any of the symptoms described below.
• Should the 3D image ever start appearing double or lose its three-dimensionality,
stop watching. Continued watching can cause eye fatigue.
The normal minimum age for viewing 3D images is six. When 3D images are being watched by
a small child, a competent adult should be on hand to monitor the child, to ensure that the 3D
images are suitable for the child, that the child does not watch the 3D images for too long an
uninterrupted period, etc.

E-6
zDo not wear the 3D glasses for long periods.
Should you experience any reddening, soreness, or irritation of your nose or temples, take off the 3D
glasses. These symptoms can be caused by pressure generated by long-term wear of the 3D glasses,
and create the risk of deteriorated physical health.
zUse these glasses only for the purpose for which they are intended.

E-7
zNever use or store the 3D glasses in the following locations. Doing so creates the risk of
malfunction of and damage to the 3D glasses.
• Locations subjected to electrostatic charge
• Locations subjected to temperature extremes
• Locations subjected to extreme moisture
• Locations subjected to sudden temperature changes
• Locations subjected to large amounts of dust
• Locations where there is the danger of getting wet
zDo not use the 3D glasses in environments subjected to temperature extremes.
The 3D glasses are designed for use within the temperatures of 5ºC to 35ºC (41ºF to
95ºF). 3D image quality and product reliability are not guaranteed when the 3D
glasses are used outside of this temperature range.
zNever leave dead batteries inside the 3D glasses for a long period.
Dead batteries may leak. Leaking batteries create the risk of malfunction and damage.
zThe 3D glasses cannot be folded. Never try to bend the frame or otherwise apply undue force.
zA scratched or broken lens can cause deterioration of 3D image quality.
• Do not subject the lens to strong force.
• Do not scratch the lens surface with a sharp object.
• Never drop or bend the 3D glasses.
zDo not allow the synchronization sensor of the 3D glasses to become dirty, and do not cover it

Operating Precautions
YA-G30_3D Glasses_e.book 7 ページ 2011年3月14日 月曜日 午後4時53分

E-8
zWhen viewing images in a room illuminated by fluorescent lighting, the frequency of the lighting
can cause flickering of overall light in the room. If this causes problems, dim the fluorescent
lighting, change to a different type of lighting, etc. (Projection in a totally darkened room is not
recommended, especially when small children are present.)
zBe sure to wear the 3D glasses correctly. The 3D image will not appear normal if the glasses
are worn upside down or backwards.
zDo not look at another type of monitor (computer monitor, digital timepiece, calculator, TV,
etc.) while wearing the 3D glasses. Take off the 3D glasses before viewing any other device
besides a CASIO 3D projector.
