Set temperature maintenance function —
KEEP WARM
You can switch on the function before, during or
after the tea brewing or water heating cycle by
pressing the KEEP WARM button.
Temperature can be maintained for up to
60 minutes within the range of 70–80 ˚С.
The function will not be activated if the water
temperature is below 50˚С.

BASKET
• Press the BASKET button. The basket will start to
go up and down automatically during the brewing
cycle.
• Quick brewing function indication BASKET CYCLE
will be displayed.
• When you press the button again, the function
will be switched off and the basket will be fixed in
the lower position.
ERROR MESSAGES
RESET — flashing indication, power supply failure
message. Unplug the kettle and switch it on again
in 5 seconds.
ERROR — flashing indication, operation failure
message. Refer to BORK authorized service center.
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Water quality affects the flavor of drinks. To
receive a good result use regenerated water.
• Do not leave the brewed tea in the jar overnight.
• Fine-cut tea is brewed quicker and stronger than
leaf tea. To avoid excessive strength and hard
flavor adjust the brewing time depending on the
degree of the tea leaf fineness.
CLASSICAL VARIETIES OF TEA
Long time ago tea firmly occupied its place in the
modern culture. It is difficult to say something new,

temperature and tea brewing time for correct
opening of its taste and flavor.
Green, yellow and jasmine tea cannot stand
high water temperature, whereas refined ether
components quickly burn in boiling water. It opens
up best of all at the temperature of about 80 °С.
Best varieties of white tea are made of the tea tree
bugs covered with natural bloom. Therefore, white
tea needs careful attitude and is brewed with water
at the temperature of no more than 85˚С.
Oolong tea is made of a rather large and ripe leaf —
often with the cutting. It is recommended to brew
such leaf with boiling water of 90˚С,otherwise the
leaf will not open up.
Cliff oolong tea and puerh have a stronger
fermentation level. The optimal brewing
temperature comprises 95˚С.
Black teas open their taste and flavor at the
temperature of 100˚С.
