1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Thank you for choosing BODET’s Lockdown Alert System transceiver. This product has been carefully designed for
your satisfaction according to ISO9001 quality control.
We recommend that you carefully read these instructions before you start to use the product.
Keep these instructions for the duration of the life of your product so that you can refer to them whenever necessary.
Failure to follow these instructions may cause irreversible damage and invalidate the warranty.
Non-contractual data. Bodet reserves the right to make certain functional, technical, design and colour changes to

website: www.bodet-time.com.
1.1 Introduction
The Lockdown Alert System transceiver sends the information by HF radio (868.3 Mhz) to its receiver.
The receiver is linked to the Sigma master clock by its external output or by a 3 input expansion card. The Lockdown
Alert System transceiver allows control of the audio systems (Harmonys or Melodys or Sigma Sound) by HF radio
for bell signals and Lockdown Alert System alerts.
Up to 48 remote controls can be paired with this receiver.
Free-space signal coverage: 1 km.
Coverage inside buildings is limited by the structure and number of walls through which the radio signal must travel.
The Lockdown Alert System transceiver uses LoRa technology: Long range transmission and reception,
excellent penetration in buildings, stable and reliable communication and open network design.
This device cannot be the only mean of triggering an alarm. A wired solution must be imperatively present on the
site.

2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Mechanical installation
1Proximity to the Sigma master clock must be ensured when chosing a location
for installation.
2Unscrew the 4 screws from the box.
3Fix the sounder into place using the screws to attach it to the wall.
4Make the electrical connections and configure the DIPs using the control mode
(see following chapter).
Recommendation: We recommend you install the receiver as high as possible
and close to windows. The receiver can be a maximum of
50 metres away from the master clock.

> Pairing a transceiver
1) Press briey on the push button Bon the receiver.
2) Watch for the red LED to ash Lon the receiver.
3) Press one of the transceiver keys.
4) Check that the red LED Lon the receiver remains lit for several seconds.
5) The transceiver is paired.
> Deactivate the transceivers
CAUTION: All transceivers paired with the receiver will be deactivated. It is not possible to deactivate each
transceiver individually.
1) Press briey on the push button Bon the receiver.
2) press on the push button Bon the receiver until the red LED goes out Lon the receiver.

2.4 Changing a transceiver’s battery
1) Open the transceiver: Unscrew the screw on the back of the
transceiver then carefully separate the two sides.
2) Remove the electronic card.
3) Remove the used battery from its housing.
4) Slide the new battery in to its place being careful to match the
polarity.
5) Replace the electronic card with the new battery in the box.
The xing plates and the dimensions of the electronic card mean
that it must be correctly reassembled.
6) Reclose the box and fasten the screw (stage 1).
3. MODE OF OPERATION
Each mode is set using the Sigma software (see the relevant manual).
We recommend the ‘ON’ mode. Several simultaneous pushes can trigger the Lockdown Alert System non stop.
The Lockdown Alert System transceiver allows you to:
>start or stop the melodies or alerts manually,
> activate / deactivate the relays,
>activate / deactivate the programmes.
All the actions from the transceiver transmit via the Sigma master clock.

1.1 Introduction
